Mrs. Jackson's Multicultural Literature Class' Animal Kingdom Adventures

Mount Everest: the ride itself wasn't that good, though I’m a person who looks for more of an adrenaline rush on a rollercoaster. Other than that it is actually a descent ride. Enjoyable for the kids and not to bad for the older generations either. The building itself was decorative, though nothing to cultural.

The building for the Rapids ride is so much better. The decor is a good representation of the Indonesian culture (or at least that’s what I think it is).

Over all the trip was a lot of fun and I highly recommend seeing the Festival of the Lion King.

The Saffari wasn't too bad, though the driver went way too fast to really see anything.

Oh and one last thing, everyone knows the "Notazoo" thing. If the Saffari ride is really on a reserve, then why are there gates hidden in fake trees, preventing the carnivores from reaching the herbivores...in a real reserve wouldn't they be allowed to rome freely. :confused.

Our trip to animal kingdom was very exciting, and im sure if you really take the time to look around and absorb all of the artifacts about all the diffrent cultural's around you, im sure that would be very educational. My group was more focused on the rides =] but thats ok, either way it was ALOT of fun. When you walk thru asia you really feel like your walking on the streets of an asian town. The only thing missing was asian food, who expects to eat pizza in asia? lol but it was still really good, The mt.everast ride was SO cool, with the twist's and turns, backwards, forwards, its very thrilling. The walk thru where you see all the pictures of the "yeti" was very neat. Even though we walked very fast thru them. The Lion king show was so cute, everone was dressed in very flamboyant costumes and the colors were so eye catching, that is definitly something to take the family to see. We also walked thru a "dinoland" type area, which i thought was SO cool, dinosaurs are awesome and if you have a son who is bored of the little whimpy nemo stuff, then totally take him to dinoland, fun rides and cool stuff all the way!! I had a very good time on my trip and would most certainly recommend going to animal to anyone intreasted in visiting disney.
