Mrs Highlander's Fabulous 40th Trip
Cast: Me:- Steve 40 something,paymaster general
DW:-Jacquie 40 soon will be something,
DD:-Stephanie 16 typical teenager,drama queen, princess (etc,etc)
DS:-Danny 14 (enough said)
Sunday 21st Oct Going home
Called down for late checkout but could only get 12:30 so took that, we had breakie in lounge then headed over to USO we had quite a few turns on MIB saw the Horror Make Up Show, ROTM , some last minute shopping and pics taken we where due to get picked up at 2pm so we headed back to resort before 12:30 and while DW arranged for the bags to be taken down I settled up the bill, we had a coffee, juices while we waited, *********** arrived on time as usual and it was Judy a driver we had a few times last trip she gave everyone a cuddle and gave the kids a pack of gum for the plane to stop their ears popping, we arrived at MCO in good time, Judy took us the scenic route so we could have a natter on the way, goodbyes said we headed for check-in at Continental the lady checking us in asked us if we wanted on an earlier flight to Newark we said okay as it would cut down on transfer time to UK, she hot us seats together and took our bags, as a thank you for her help I gave her the 4 VIP tix I had for SW for their photo competition she said her kids would be very grateful and as we left she was showing her colleagues what she had got given.
We made the earlier plane with time to spare but we took off late due to the rain, once in Newark we all got dinner in the food court and drinks, some duty free bought, while waiting for our flight back, DD met her lecturer from college who was on same flight as us (small world), we took off on time and arrived safely to a very cold Edinburgh morning, and that's it till next time
