These parts can be bought in many places. MK has a huge display in the big tent back in ToonTown. Also, at the Pop Century. Downtown has the best stand though IMO. And yes, don't forgot a set of arms!!! I get an extra set each time I get a box, just in case. They are the only ones that will hold all the cool stuff you can buy.

Also, whoever got the Tinkerbell set, where did you get it?

Those sound so neat! Can you get them at Disneyland too? We are going in 2 weeks!! I would love to get them for my girls. They would be a great toy for them to play with in the car on the way home from DL.

YES they have them in EngineEars Toy store , it's the first store on your right as you enter DCA. Same price, same concept, might not be the same pieces but I know they do change them.. I plan to buy more during October trip ---- 25 days away!

There are also special "pre-packed" boxes of potato head/parts @ Pirates of the Caribbean (cool pirate stuff) and somewhere in Adventureland or Frontierland..can't remember with some cowboy stuff.

Can't wait to get our 7th & 8th boxes of WDW potato head parts!!!

My parents are in NYC this weekend to run a marathon. So I asked them to go to the Disney store to get the kids Mr Potato Head pieces. I told her all the tips I have read on the boards. So she said she stuffed her box and it closed without a problem. When she went to check out they opened the box and told her she had to have a potato too. Atleast the CM went back with her and packed the box for her. My mom said she would have never thought to open up the back. I just hope we don't have to buy another head when we to WDW. We already have 3 now.

They don't make you get a potato in the DTD Once upon a Toy store. Just got back with a full box of parts. I will have to remember to ask a CM to help pack the box next time!!!

I went a little Potatoe Head nuts at DTD. I ended up with 5 boxes, plus the Pirates of the Carribean , Dumbo and all the bagged sets. I got every possible item but a darn Liberty Torch because these two people got there right before me and filled a huge bag with all the pizzas, torches, suitcases, and other of the really cool pieces and then sat there for an hour packing them. I managed to find one pizza they must of missed, but they had a whole box of just pizzas! I had my mom ask them if they had 1 torch that they could spare and they said they didn't have any, that they were all out of them. Well, yeah, because they cleaned them all out. It was our last day so I didn't even have a chance to look elsewhere for one.

The woman tried to be all friendly and give their tips on packing but I was fuming because I saw a whole pile of torches they had and they would not spare one torch. They said they come every other week just to buy Potatoe Head parts! The guy even admitted he had got all the torches. Boy was he proud. Probably sell them on Ebay I guess. Lord knows what else they would need all those parts for.

I also didn't know you can purchase a part for $2! Are you sure? I was all checked out and walking out when eek.....I missed the Tink hair! They let me take something out to fit the Tink hair in but I would of rather just paid the $2!

Needless to say, I have been having Potatoe head packing nightmares ever since. Even when I was packing the car to come home I felt like I was packing Potatoe head boxes. BTW, I didn't have to buy the Potatoe Head. I got just the parts.

Oh my goodness! A new obssession - just what I needed! LOL!!

Are there any lists of the different parts available? I would love to get some for my 3 yr old. Ok me, but you know what I mean!

I am going to have to stock up on these to help surprise him for our cruise next year!

my little 3 yr old overfilled her box and had me in a corner trying to fit everything in... a very nice CM came along and saw what we were trying to do.. I am sure if I tried to repack it would have fit.. she told my little one not to worry and took us to a register and charged us the 18.00.. she was so nice.. especially since it was my daughters 4th box... my inlaws but her 3 last time!

I love the potato head parts! So cute!
