Hi guys! Do they still have the potato head things at the store in DCA? Do the pieces fit a regular potato head?

Awhile back I bought some My Little Pony pieces for dd off ebay- was that a WDW thing or does DL have them too?

I'm not sure if they still have them but if they do- don't get a head when you fill a box. You can buy one of those at TRU or somewhere else much cheaper. You'll fit a lot more pieces in the box if you don't get the head.

Yes, they fit in the regular head.

if you buy a head, don't forget to fill it with pieces before you put it in the box!!

Have one of the cast members help you if you want all the pieces. A cast member helped us and she put all the pieces to the different characters in the large potato head bucket for us. She knew how to stuff them in. We brought them all home and my boys love playing with them with all their other potato heads.

OMG, I would love to know the My Little Pony answer. My daughter is a pony freak! I just checked Ebay and had no idea such things existed. Can you get the pieces at Disneyland?

No My Little Pony at DLR.

There is also a Potato Head thing back in ToonTown, but I checked it out last trip, and it's just a paltry selection. Enginears is MUCH better.

If you get the tourist suitcase, put something (like the "ticket") into the suitcase. And definitely get a CM's help, they are experts!

The My Little Pony pieces are adorable- and there are some decent prices on eBay for them. Definitely worth it if your dd loves ponies, my dd barely ever puts them away.

The big Potato Head area is at Enginears in DCA. Go in the entrance, walk under the Golden Gate Bridge, look to your right!

The small, not really worth it, area is in ToonTown in their biggish gift shop, which is sort of hidden (didn't notice it the first time we were there).

I don't think they have any other pieces/parts sort of toys, not like I've heard there are at WDW.

I agree with the PP. The store in CA had a much better selection of pieces and very helpful cast members. We got Buzz, Mr. Incredible, Peter Pan hat, Pirates stuff, Donald, Goofy, Mickey ears, Tinkerbell stuff, and a few more. I cannot remember them all as they were a gift for my nephew. he loved them.

Does anyone remember how much the BIG head is, to fill with pieces? We had bought 2 boxes when we were there last time, and there were so many character pieces we left behind. I'd like to get more, if not all, of them this time around. I'd be willing to pay for the bigger thing to fill. It sounded much cooler than a box, anyway.

I read in other posts that the box is a "happy meal" sized box and you fill it up for $18.

It was $45.00 for the big head. the Cm helped us put everything in the big head and we bought a box too. I think there was one thing left that wouldn't fit but she let us have it anyway

I think the box is about 6x9 inches. Here's a photo of ours after we got home last summer. I don't have the box anymore and I didn't take photos of what I stuffed in it but the woman working at the store was impressed with how much I packed in there. You have to make sure those tabs at the top on each side close.

DD6 has almost all the pieces available at WDW - I've spent a small fortune at Once Upon a Toy in DTD there!
