Mr. Potato head?

Can anyone tell me if they still have the Mr. Potato heads at Disney where you get all you can fit into the box for a certain price? If so can you tell me how much they are? I want to pick up a few boxes of them for my nieces and nephews while we are there.

Yes they do.... They are still in Once Upon A Toy in downtown disney. I want to say the price was around 20 bucks. Hope this helps.

Yup and they are 18$ to fill the box Have fun! it's our fave thing to do!

They had them back in January when we were there. I think the price went up, though. They were no longer $18. It was only a dollar or two more, if I remember correctly

i also foundthem in a store at MGM studios(not sure where) but they were the same prices!

We were just there last month and the price was $19/per box. I think the best selection I saw was at Once Upon a Toy Store at DTD.

They sure do and believe me they add up quick.

We are down twice a year and that is my youngest 2 childrens favorite thing to do still. Just so you know I have a DS who is 11 and DD is 6 and it is still a thrill for them to see what and how much they can get in that box.

I have $$$ worth of Mr. Potato Head peices. We keep them in our rental home in Florida and there is not a single person that at one time or another talks about or puts together a potato. They find it unusual to see the Disney parts and all are drawn to it at one time or another.

Some times I have to break up a squable with the adults hogging all the good parts because they just want to see how they all look. Many times I have been to say good night to one of mine or someone elses for that matter and they have one put together on a dresser that they just could not pull apart.

For us they are worth the $$$ we spend and they are forever. Not like some of the other souvies that will be at the bottom of the toy chest.

Each of the parks have a stoe that carries the Mr potato heads. The store in Downtown disney seems to carry all the part. Where the ones in the parks might be missing some of the parts.

There was also a very nice selection of them at the gift shop at POP.

My DD7 and I have done this 3 times now ( and My Little Pony once). We did PH twice at WDW and once at Disneyland, so now we have alot of pieces. Make sure if you are going to get the pototo head too ( you don't have to) that you open up the back and put pieces in there. The last 2 times we haven't gotten the head, just all the unique, to Disney, pieces we could cram in. The first time we messed up and didn't get enough ears. Had to make sure we did the next time. We have many of the autograph books, mickey bars, and all the smaller parts since they don't take up any room in the box.

(Also, if you do it at DTD, you can build a PH on the computer and print it out-it's a great souvenir, and it's free. I don't know if other locations have the computers, or not)

I don't think you HAVE to get the head. You could just fill the box with parts, and buy a cheap head at WalMart.

You do not have to get the head just the parts are fine. We do this way to much and have spent way to much $$$ on those peice's

Don't forget to get the special arms that are there - they are made to hold the special Disney props like the Mickey balloon and the Mickey ice cream bar! As long as you can close the box, you can get as many pieces as you want. I usually average 35 pieces per box - of course some are very small and some are big!
