Can someone tell me how much it is to fill a box with Mr Potato Head parts?

Buy the potato part somewhere else so you can fill the box with more parts and get more for your money! If that is not an option, don't forget to open up his backside and pack it with parts too!

Agree, get the potato head from some place else, plus you will have extra basic eyes, ears, etc... Coupons.com had Potato Head coupons right now and I heard Target has some different ones on sale.

I got the body at Target. Just want the parts. So, I can fill the box with parts for $19.99?

Do you get potato Head parts in DTD? I'm thinking of doing this I teach preschool.:teacher:

Once upon a toy in DTD sells the potato head parts as well as the store in the judges tent in Toontown in MK. There may be some other places also.

You can pick up the "body part" at almost any yardsale. I've gotten many of them for .25 cents each. :thumbsup2

Yup 19.99. Got ours last week. We also got a Star Tours "Luke Frywalker" Tater at the 10 and under store at DTD for 3.99. We have plenty on Potato Bodies, but we left them at home, and we found that tater for 4 bucks so we picked it up so they could play with it on vacation.

This is such a wonderful idea. We bought DS' Toy Story Mr. Potato Head at Walmart for less than $10 and I am hoping the new parts will be his main Souvie from our Disney trip. Are the prices still the same for a box of parts or have they changed this? Thanks.

We've never gotten into the Potato Head thing -- can someone tell me -- are the parts at Disney unique? Parts you can't get elsewhere? Sounds like fun, but I didn't understand what was different about WDW Potato Head parts vs. elsewhere. Thanks (in advance) for filling me in!

...although the last thing I really need is another reason to spend money, so I hope I'm not tempted! :rotfl:

The Disney parts are awesome! They have all kinds of special character parts. I think I've filled at least 6 or 7 boxes over the years. When my kids were younger, it was one of my favorite parts of our trip. (Yes, seriously.) I'd get a shopping basket and put every part I wanted into it and go find a spot out of the way and dump it on the floor and work to fit as many pieces as possible into the box. Off the top of my head we have Tink, Cinderella, Ariel, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Minnie, Mr. Incredible, Dumbo, Cruella, Maleficent (sp?) and I'm sure many more I'm not thinking of.

Oh no! [plugging my ears and humming loudly] Now you've gone and done it -- I'm officially tempted!
:goodvibes

We've filled boxes on both of our trips and now that we have all the pieces, I'm sad that we won't be doing it this time around! It's a lot of fun trying to see how much you can get in there!!

Small tip. Don't forget the arms that hold the items. They do not come with regular potato heads (learned the hard way). Get a left and a right as part of your collection.

Oh, well. Now we have twice as many parts (and no duplicates!)

Ditto on the arms! My kids LOVED doing this and still play with the parts all the time.

You sound exactly like our family. :goodvibes

We will sit down in the corner and the kids put the pieces into "definitely" and "if it fits" piles and DH will carefully fit the pieces together so they can get as much in the box as possible. Last time, the only thing he couldn't fit in was Mary Poppins umbrella, so we asked if we could buy it separately. The CM, just stuck the handle into the box with the umbrella sprouting from the top and said "it fits". :thumbsup2

I have many disney parts if someone is interested please pm me....
we got 3 box full last year.
