Hey all

It's almost time to set sail!

Starting tomorrow we can all say, "my cruise is next month"
Lorelai is doing well. She's 7.5 months old now and fantastic! We think she's "advanced" - but she is our daughter so we would think that

She was rolling, crawling, and standing months ago (she actually stood before she crawled), and now she's already started to stand at the couch and take steps to walk down it!

No joke, only 7.5 months old and she walks down the couch all by herself! Who knows, maybe she'll walk a little by the time of the cruise! She says "dadda" "mama" and makes lots of noises. Granted, she doesn't know that we are mama and dadda, she's just practicing her consonants. But hey - I'll take it! And she loves to scream, but in a happy way. Shes DEFINITELY beginning to find her voice.

Her growth spurts are also continuing. I don't remember if I mentioned it, but at birth and through her first few months she was in the bottom 20% for height but then, a few months ago, she evened out and reached the middle at 47%. Well, she's kept on track with that. I was astonished when she grew a whole inch in 3 weeks!!

Her sleeping has been funky though, which is disconcerting. She's ALWAYS slept through the night, and now...not so much.
Question:
To anyone who has cruised with an infant/baby - how do you know if they are seasick and what do you do about it? I can't imagine you can give an infant the seasick medicines. I get wooshy pretty easily so I wouldn't be surprised if Lorelai does too. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
