2 notes; I never was able to wake up Mrs.Mike for our romantic swim last night
and I am having some problems uploading pics. Not only doe sit take 20 minutes or so to upload but when it tells me its done I find the folder empty. I’ll keep trying...I got only 4 from today uploaded. The URL will be listed down below.

Today started with a 6:20 wake up from Mickey. Everyone slept soundly after our car ride and visits to MGM and Epcot. Today was early entry for MGM. Usually we skip the parks that have early entry but being so close to MGM we decided to try it.

First we headed to the Boardwalk Bakery for coffee but the line was very long so we went for breakfast at MGM. With no boat approaching the dock we decided to walk. 15 minutes or so later we arrived. It was 8:45 and we sat down at Celebrity Rolls. While they ordered bagels and coffee I trotted over to Rock n Roller coaster. I figured I get a ride in before eating but the wait was 45 min already. I grabbed one fast pass for RnR then grabbed 2 for TOT which was up to 60 minutes already!!

I’ve never sat around in any park during the morning and watched people walk by. But we ate slowly for breakfast and it was very enjoyable.
The kids asked for The great Movie Ride and when we arrived the CM outside gave my daughter a white card to give to the inside CM. I believe it was one of those cards to measure the wait time. In fact it was this ride that we waited the longest. 10 to 15 minutes. Our tour guide, Ingram, was very good. Enjoyed it more than usual.

Next Mrs.Mike took the kids to see Mike and Sulley and I dragged my mom to ToT. First she waited as I used my RnR fast pass (thanks mom) I love this coaster. I try to convince people who don’t lieke traditional coasters to try this one and the HULK at universal. They are very smooth rides not jiggity and bumpy like coasters of old. Anyway the worst and best part of this ride is the first 3 (2?) Seconds when you go from zero to a gagillion miles per hour. Your stomach feels like it slams into your back and its pushing it way out your back. And it continues and continues and just as its about to rip open the skin of your back and break free you stop accelerating and just cruise the rest of the ride and top speed. Whew...I loved it!!!

Foun mom enjoying the warm sun near the exit and we walked passed the huge line for ToT. I’m glad more people don’t use FP. Not sure why they don’t but I’m glad.
Told mom that the lap bar the ride had 2 years ago when we last rode was gone now replaced inly by seatbelts. It made me nervous just telling her. In the elevator I sat on the end of the row looking desparately for something to hold onto. There are small handles near your legs but I let mom hold the one in between us and on my other side next to the wall of the elevator there was none. (gulp). The little show when the elevator rises was great. But then you start through the hallway and I forgot when the drop comes. Then it was dark and whooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
We dropped and I screamed then we rose for a second and dropped again and I screamed again. Then we dropped really far down and I wasn’t on my seat for the entire drop. Then we shot all the way back up and as the doors were opening to see the park we dropped again, before we could even see out the doors. Then it seemed like it was over because we hadn’t moved for a second or so but ohhhhh nooooooooooo.... up again for our final drop then back down. I am not ashamed to say I screamed for every drop, ..well..wasn’t ashamed until I turned around whenthe ride was over and saw 2 little girls and a boy and thier dad behind me.

But I must say I thought the ride was much better! You have no idea of the drop sequence and the anticipation is a killer.

Walked over to where Mike and Sulley hang out and Mrs.Mike was first in line for thier next picture session.

I love seeing them because sulley looks exactly like he does from Monsters Inc. Probably because hes computer animated. The kids and Mrs.Mike and my mom went over and I took a few pics. While walking away mrs.Mike revealed that Mike had grabbed her but!! WHATTTT? I found that hard to believe and told her that mike arms hang there and his hand is a bit curved so I could see how she might think that but im sure he didnt do it on purpose.
We laughed about it on our way to PlayHouse Disney. They got on line and i grabbed Fps for Millionaire. I met them back online and saw my return time was 5 minutes from now. Hhmmm I guess no one is there today. After singing with Bear and Luna we figured we’d just go wait for the next show of miilionaire...but..i;m wheres the entrance? Heres the FP return line and that a bathroom door and ... I cant find the regular entrance so I finally ask the FP return guy, “where is the regular entrance?” I learn there is no regular entrance and you need a FP for every show. I guess that gives out just the right number of seats for each show because it doesn’t prevent you from getting another FP for another ride. Mrs.Mike sat outside with our son who had fallen asleep and me mom and DD went in.
We saw three contestants get into the high seat but only 2 won the first set of prizes and the other guy lost quickly. It was fun, i’d love to play again.

On our way to the entrance we stopped at the giant sorcerer hat because all the characters were coming out. We stopped for Alladin and Jasmin who were signing together. My daughter wanted us to tell Jasmine that whe was going as her for Halloween. We did and jasmine was excited. Alladin said softly, “girls get a lot of candy when they dress like Jasmin...because of her outfit” Insert shocked bulging eyes here!!

We had to get back to the Boardwalk to meet my dad who was visiting us today and my sister and her family who we finally heard from. We were all going to have dinner at Camp May Clambake.
In the room I opened the door for the view and the most wonderfully sweet sugary scent floated inthe air. I thought it might be comiing from the Sweet Shop but im not sure..
Before eating we jumped into the Luna Park Pool. Warm water and sunny sky was perfect for swimming. I noticed there was a pool bar so i went over and ordered a carousel. I think it was rum and some other stuff in a frozen mix. Oh man was it good. I drank it quickly but luckily didnt fall asleep from the alcohol and sun. (hey, it happens)

After a quick half hour we go back to the room and get dressed and meet my sister and family
I tell them its an easy walk around the water but a boat is waiting at the dock. On the other side I realize I have no idea where this restaurant is. We walk through Stormalong bay and ask a CM for directions. When we get to Camp May they can’t find our name. Another CM comes over to help and she does a search. She finds it...for SUNDAY night, tomorrow! Oh man how could I have made it for the wrong day? They quickly seat us anyway and cancel tomorrows PS.

The lobby and Camp May have subdued lighting, very effective and welcome after a long bright day at the parks. Im glad some intercotees convinced me to try this. It was fantastic and I don’t even eat seafood.. Everything was so good I tried it all (as long as it never swam, or walked or just sat there, in the ocean. The desserts were even better and for the second time in less than 36 hours I felt the tears coming. How could this food be so good ( boo hoo) I don’t deserve anything so tasty ( wahhh, sniff).

We walked back to the Boardwalk and soaked up the nightime atmosphere. We say a cowgirl showing us lasso tricks while dancing and flinging her guns in and out of her holster. It was different and enjoyable also. My sister and her family had to head back to her room, We toom the kids and my parents to the small arcade and played a bit. Kids love arcade games.

After we lied that we had no more money it happened. I heard other people say it happened to them but I never expected it. We got our Disney Magic Moment. A CM with a bango was walking towards the Boardwalk Inn Lobby and noticed my DD head band with the attached mickey shaped heads. Look like 1950 alien antenae. He asked her if she was getting good reception. With her shy smile onher face someone ( my wife, mom?) Said play us a song. He thought for a moment and said he had the perfect song to sing. It was You Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story. This is one of our favorite songs if not our favorite. He was so good and he sang very well and it seemed like we were the only ones aound. Indeed, no on else came over and watched or danced and im not sure why. It was pure magic and the highlight of our day.

Its 11pm now and the yankees are trailing the marlins. I wish I could get these pics up becaus ei took some real good ones. I made Mrs.Mike promise me a swim tonight but everyone is asleep already. Maybe I’ll go solo and enjoy the ambiance outside for a bit.

Great reports Mike. I'm glad you are enjoying yourselves. It just sounds wonderful. Maybe you can get that romantic swim another night. Have fun tomorrow and give us another report if you can.

Great Report - I feel like I am there... MGM is my favorite park to "people watch" in.

Enjoying your reports.

Before I did thrill rides (yes, I'm a convert now) I would always start my mornings at MGM at Staring Rolls and people watch while my friend went off to do TOT. RnR was the ride that converted me.....so smooth and fast! In my upcoming trip I THINK I'm going to ride TOT.....plunging is not my favorite feeling....shooting up in the air (like on Mailiboomer in DCA) is Ok, but that dropping.......we'll see.

Can't wait to hear about today's adventures and if you get that romantic swim.

My 36 yr old DH won't do ToT....but my DD6 loved it. Go figure...if I could only get her on RnR and Dinosaur I'd have a thrill ride partner!! Great reports...we will be there soon and your making the wait more difficult!!

Wonderful trip reports ~ Thanx for sharing.

LOL. Once while visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, Fievel came up to me and hugged me. The thing is he wouldn't let me go. It was kinda creepy.
