Mr Lincoln is back! Today (Friday)

DD10 and I went for a few hours today and as we were waiting for the double decker bus to leave I noticed that Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln was open. I asked the driver when it opened and he said Today!.

DL was crowded (of course!) so we didn't do a whole lot. We grabbed FP for BTM, checked out Reindeer Ranch, rode BTM, grabbed a spot for Tiana's Jubilee, watched my DNephew in the parade, show, and return parade, crawled down MS (everyone was waiting for parade), went in GMWML, waited about 15 mins., watched it, and then exited DL.

It was pretty much the way I remember it from the last time I saw it. Though I think the flag that used to appear in the clouds behind Mr. Lincoln after he sits down was less pronouced and it ends with the sky returning to dark blue with stars and a picture of Mr. Lincoln sitting in his chair from the Lincoln memorial.

Welcome back Mr. President! We missed you.

This is a show, right? I remember going in when Steve Martin hosted a show..you went into a big auditorium room and watch the film. Just wondering if this is the same setup.

Yes you go into the big auditorium, there's a short film and then the curtain closes and opens to reveal Mr. Lincoln seated in a chair. He stands and speaks. Just like before.

Is he wearing one of those bluetooth earpieces there?

Did you notice the spectral lights on his shoulder and wrist as well? Since the painting had glass over it I turned off my flash and that's the room lights reflecting back but I like the Bluetooth comment-very funny! I'm sure if he was alive today he would be wearing one.
