I figured he went out goose hunting yesterday (with Harry Whittington?) and shot himself in the foot.

Cheney ruled. Not many people can pull off powerful b*****d well, and he did. I respect that. I can totally see him wacking people in the ankle with his cane who get in the way of his chair, then THEY will apologise to him. People love to hate them, but we do need our Dick Cheney's in this world. I do hope he gets better soon and am glad to hear it's just a bad back.
