Hi and welcome!!

It's been a hot summer, but a stormy day on Long Island!!!!

I spoke to one of my sisters 2 hours ago; she has no power and 2 inches of water in her basement. She said my brother (who lives 5 minutes from her, 45 minutes from me) has 3 inches of water in his living room, but has power and is working on pumping it out. (He's at the bottom of a hill.)

They were some SERIOUS thunder storms-- apparently 5 soccer players were struck by lightening at a park in my town today!!
