Hi Kids! This is for everybody: :grouphug:

I put in a looooong day yesterday at work. My team-mate is in Rome this week! I'll be glad for the overtime and can start a new Disney travel fund with it. If my cruise opportunity falls through, I may just have to pop over to WDW for a few days once the Christmas decorations are up if PixieMagic wants to go then.....if not, perhaps a day or two in November......I hear there will be some Chocolate lovers visiting at the end of the F&WF. That two day park hopper is burning a hole in my pocket. I shouldn't really spend the $$, but maybe I could justify just saving OT money for travel (instead of bill paying). Let's see, 10-12 hours overtime will buy airline tickets (if I can get a deal). Of course, I'd have to stay on property since I wouldn't want to rent a car...what's POP going for these days? Hmmmmmm, maybe a little bit of 'stand-by' research is called for ::yes:: OK, geffric you can laugh at me if you want........I know it was just a few weeks ago when I talked myself OUT of going this year.

Ooops, DISing too long....time to hit the shower! Have a great day everyone.

Its too late for us to change our schedule, but:

--Pop: regular season rack rate $99 after taxes: $110.38 per night
AAA rate ? maybe $84
if AP holder--- hurry up the 60 day window is closing in

Southwest has been Dinging a lot for Phoenix.

Castlegazer--- I hope your son is doing much better and the rest of you.
:wizard: Hugs and tons of get well pd.

Thanks so much guys - he's doing better, I however, am not. This stinks. I have a sinus infection.

cadsmom, How's Jordan doing and how are you doing now that school started up again?

Cheeringmom :( So sad that your friends lost everything, how horrible...I can't imagine how awful that would be... but thank goodness they are safe and have good friends like you  and so sorry too that your DH will be leaving soon...you're such a good mom that although I'm sure he's sad to go, he knows his children are in good hands :cloud9:

NC Belle Um, interesting getaway vehicle....did your cousin's wedding happen to take place in Hazzard County? :rotfl2: And btw, thought of you as I was listening to the radio yesterday...guess what they've named the new sports complex at Briar Creek ;) :p

Geffric Guess which really cool chocolate-loving chick will be attending the last Thur and Fri nights of the F&W Festival!

Cadburysmom--- the wedding was in Augusta---don't know the county name.
I admit---most of my side admits to being rednecks and hillbillies. My Dad's first cousins explained to NC Beast (when they met him in 1996/1997) the various classifications of what they consider redneck and their favorite bar in Alabama--- The Fuzzy Duck (I have never been to that bar or know if its still there). According to their standards in 1997....we are the high fluting high class city rednecks.

...and for Hartford...when are they gonna get it thru their thick heads that noone from Raleigh wants to go to Hartford :confused3 :rotfl2:

(j/k to all you nice Hartford residents out there) :bitelip:

:( Poor thing...sinus infections suck!

...and thanks for asking about Jordan, he's doing well...came in 4th for his school, 17th total in his cross country meet(against 3 other schools)...not bad for a 6th grader running against 6-8th graders :) ...maybe Cheeringmom's DS has been rubbing off on him ;) :p

:rotfl2: Well, let me just say I am honored to have met the "high fluting" side of your family :teeth: ....and I say we all meet at the "Fuzzy Duck" for a round of beers...with a name that cute, it's just gotta be worth the trip! ::yes::

Well, we are not that high fluting now that we live in Johnston Co. with our next door neighbor with a broken down car in the backyard (not on bricks).

I have to find out where the bar is located---my Grandma (when she was living) made sure that we did not associate much with the family members that like to drink. One cousin (once or twice removed) used a shotgun in his trailer to try to kill some snakes. NC Beast is fascinated by these real life stories and wants to go back.

:teeth: Well you might not think so now, but with land prices soaring in and around Johnston Co right now, you may well be sitting on a goldmine young lady...ch-ching! :goodvibes

 Note to self: um, keep all shotguns AND snakes away from NC Belle during our next rendezvous at the Cheesecake Factory ;) :rotfl2:

well, at least its on their damn property - our neighbors have parked theirs right outside our front door on the street. Its great to open the curtains in the morning and have the view of that piece of junk sitting there with the tires deflated and everything. They also have a dented hood of some other random car leaning against the wall of their house right next to our deck. Yeah, that's nice too  :headache: Our neighbors SUCK! I love that my house costs me very little and its nice to boot, but man, some days I wish I had my McMansion in a gated community.

I am still suffering here. My hubby just called to say that he has a fever and is staying home (hope he finds the strength to move a vacuum cleaner). This is a whooper of a virus we all have.

Give Jordan a high five from me!

I don't have the best aim with guns.

Hey everyone!

Cheeringmom, I'm glad your friends are OK. I'm so sorry they lost everything. I cannot imagine. :(

NC Belle, Your family sounds kewl. :cool1:

Castlegazer, I hope you & your hubby are feeling better. Please tell me you watch the OC last night! It was awesome. I'm so happy it's back. Oh, and did you watch the show after it, Reunion? Me likes. It starts out present day & there is a funeral going on & the dead person has been murdered. Each episode is a different year, last night was 1986, the year a group of 6 friends graduated from high school. I love it already. The acting is really bad & the story "twists" so far are pretty predictable, my kinda show. ;) Less than 2 weeks until LOST!!

iboucetoo, I think you should definitely go to WDW. I can't believe so many people are going to be there (leaving) the day we are arriving. I wish my family wasn't so wacky, but keep me posted on the plans in case I can sneak away for a moment or 2.

NC Belle Are you still involved with WPASADI?? Looks like they had quite a bit of turmoil over there :( I think we're all pretty stressed about the recent hurricane and tempers are running high...just hope they're able to forgive and let the game go on! :grouphug:

Castlegazer You poor thing...it would drive me nuts to live next to those people  Sure hope you're feeling better and thanks for the cute "Woo!" smilie...I luvs it!!! :teeth:

Deadheadbelle

QOTD: Weekend plans anyone?
Jordan's got soccer games tomorrow and Sunday...but that's about it in my little neck of the woods :teeth:

I didn't do WPASADI 2 ---too time consuming.
Cadburysmom---if you had used Ding rate for your trip---RDU to MCO, $29 by 9pm eastern, TODAY. I had readjusted our tickets and have $34.40 in ticketless funds to be used by July 2006.

No plans for this weekend. I think we go through our clothes and sort them into keepers, donate, and trash.

Why not use the money to join the Chocolatesistas, DHB and possible ibounce and katden in November??

I wish that I could but....

We have a road trip planned for Thanksgiving weekend/first week of December---promised my folks and in-laws a long visit. I don't think I would have enough $$$ so soon after October's trip (the trip that was once a long weekend and now almost a week). I would have to eat a lot of PBJ and ramen noodles (flashes of college life passing by quickly).

Hi guys

CASTLEGAZER hoping you all are feeling better. You need a vacation sista!!! Get well soon! :sunny:

WHAHOO for Jordan. being in the top 20 for a first x country meet is awesome. We will not talk about Tommy's debut at his new school. I was forbidden to mention it again!! :rotfl:

BELLE top ramen is good and worth it if you get a trip to WDW!! Go for it girl!!

DHB when are you guys going? Can everyone put their dates down (unless you are worried about crazy people like me :earboy2:) I'd love to make a trip. I am planning on visiting Sam in October so I could kill two birds with one stone. hmmmmm BTW how is TB doing? Tell her I miss her!!

I'm staying home today and cleaning. I have a lot of stuff to do this week so today is my only day! Hopw you all have a productive day too! TTFN

BTW where is OF??
we have lots MIA!!
