NC Belle - gas is over $3.29 per gallon here.. yesterday Scott walked to work.. He was gonna ride one of the bikes but the tires on everyone was flat..gotta get them fixed over the weekend.

Yesterday, Geofff had his first cross country meeting. He didn;t get home from school until 8 pm last night.!!! The had to start on homework. I got home at 6;15 from work and left at 6:30 to go to Eric parent orienatation and got home at 9 pm. Eric has football everyday from 5:15 to 7:30 pm.. So Scott was home alone most of the time .

Eric had to be at school this am by 7 am for a Jazz Band meeting.. good thing I am working from home today. Geoff has CC, then the team goes to the high school football game. Eric has football practice and then he will go to the football game.. GO VIKINGS!!.. So, after I drop the boys off at football practice, I am going to one on my girl friends for dinner with her and another lady. We are grilling out and chatting all night. Which is about 10 pm before us old ladies fall asleep..LOL

Geffric--- unfortunately our gas prices went up....NC Beast can't carpool with his shift and location. He has Tuesday night off so hopefully things settle down before we need to fill up again.

We have no weekend plans---need to save up for next month's trip. I pre-made a bunch of meals yesterday in order to avoid the "eating out" temptations.

Thanks. Yes, those lil monkeys are getting big. I'm doing ok, go to the doc again in 2 weeks. Not hoping for an US this time, but next. Ah poo....that reminds me. I've got bloodwork paperwork just sitting in my truck. I'll probably be waiting as long as possible. Me no likey needles or blood....can't figure out which.

Gas was as high as 3.79 here and down today to 2.99.

No fun plans.

geffric! WOW. You sound busy...or at least the kids do, but I KNOW that means you are, too! How do you keep up?!?

Tampa is good Weather is HOT, but that's to be expected. Just hope I can get rid of these glasses soon so I won't have to deal with them fogging up every time I get out of the car... We love our neighborhood, the kids like school (they've been in a month already!), and we're *almost* unpacked. Still got lots of arranging to do, but the number of boxes is at least going down. DH is doing so much painting it's ridiculous, but the house is looking great! His job is good, and he doesn't leave for an extended time until March (we think) so it's all good so far!

As for Disney, we go at least every other weekend, sometimes more. Staying home this weekend due to price of gas and need to get some painting done... We did get in a 5 day trip in July for Walt's birthday, too, and have a couple more planned for October and Decemeber As you might have guessed, we're LOVING the location!

QOTD: "Adventures" close to home. Went bowling this morning (one of the kids' new favorite activities) then to lunch at Moe's, followed by a trip to "the paint store" (Lowe's). Tomorrow DH has the watch so the kids and I will hit the pool in the AM and do craft projects in the afternoon when it's too stinkin' hot to be outside. DH is off on Monday, so he'll have some more "adventures" planned, I'm sure

NC Beast is laughing at some photos that my Dad e-mail of my cousin's wedding last week. Let me put this way....yee-haw...(NC Beast is humming the theme of The Beverly Hillbillies). My cousin looked beautiful---a lot like her Mama at the same age. It seems the Newlyweds left for their honeymoon in a decorated pick-up truck.

So now I get to best buy to claim the new computer, bring it over to the Geek folks and asked them to do a data transfer to the new one. Tomorrow I am going to GHiradelli got get my b'day buy1 get 1 free sundae.. YUMMY!!

DDE? It is SO worth it! We saved the cost of the card on one meal alone! Of course, that was a group of 8 who were dining (and drinking) at Wolfgang Puck's, but still! 20% off adds up VERY quickly, especially when you remember that it includes alcohol! Get it!! I'd order it close to your trip, and if it doesn't get there before you leave, ask them to leave you a temp. card at Epcot Guest Services. That'll extend your card a little longer, and you can squeeze in a trip next year before it expires!

I'd love to meet up with you guys! The last weekend would be November, right? Can't imagine we'll have anything else planned that weekend, and I'm ALWAYS looking for a good reason to spend another day at the F&W Festival! PM me your dates so I can keep it somewhere (if I write it down it will be lost before bedtime)...and include your cell # if you'll be carrrying it with you. We'll firm up some plans when time is closer!

My honey is leaving today for a LONG trip. UGH. I hate playing mom and dad. Will miss him something terrible.

Heard from a few friends. They lost EVERYTHING. When they call and tell me, they are crying and my heart is breaking. Can you imagine losing all that you have? Everything sentimental in your life? These people need our prayers. But they are thankful they got out alive when so many did not.

I am still sick BECAUSE we went to Maine for a mini vacation on Thursday and by Thursday evening my son was having a complete respiratory failure with coughing and wheezing and basically not being able to breathe so we spent the next two days in the hospital up there - which was a great one thankfully - so we exhausted ourslves with worry and waiting by his bedside. I now have a terrible sinus infection, am trying to get back to work, and Catrina is also still suffering from this thing.

C-Mom - your friends and everyone affected by the devesatation are constantly in my prayers.

Hi Kids! This is for everybody:

I put in a looooong day yesterday at work. My team-mate is in Rome this week! I'll be glad for the overtime and can start a new Disney travel fund with it. If my cruise opportunity falls through, I may just have to pop over to WDW for a few days once the Christmas decorations are up if PixieMagic wants to go then.....if not, perhaps a day or two in November......I hear there will be some Chocolate lovers visiting at the end of the F&WF. That two day park hopper is burning a hole in my pocket. I shouldn't really spend the $$, but maybe I could justify just saving OT money for travel (instead of bill paying). Let's see, 10-12 hours overtime will buy airline tickets (if I can get a deal). Of course, I'd have to stay on property since I wouldn't want to rent a car...what's POP going for these days? Hmmmmmm, maybe a little bit of 'stand-by' research is called for OK, geffric you can laugh at me if you want........I know it was just a few weeks ago when I talked myself OUT of going this year.

Ooops, DISing too long....time to hit the shower! Have a great day everyone.
