Morning all! How is everthing with everyone?

I'm just popping my noggin' in to say howdy then I gotta boogie. We're hosting a neat fund raiser this afternoon/evening called Hip Hop for the Homeless. Lots of hip hop artists and b-ball players will be launching a summer long b-ball tournament and today is the day! Gonna be busy busy until about 9pm tonight. Yeesh insofar as being tired but woo hoo for the media coverage and $$ we hope to raise!

Early this summer DING had Chicago to Orlando for $ 64 each way.. So I am waiting to get that one for November..

Nutball, Riley was very cute! Hot? I don't know if I'd say hot. Well, yeah, probably I would, but only at the very end when he's in that car! I loved the movie, it was really, really good. My kinda flick. I hope there's a part deux.

Oh and about Kasie. At first I thought Daniel was just being a coward, but then DHB pointed out that he was probably trying not to hurt her feelings, which does make sense because he is a very sweet, sensitive kid. Anyway, Kasie's history! I do not like him having a girlfriend. He starts public Middle School in a month and I'm scared of the GIRLS that will be there.

hehe, well i thought he was hot the whole movie, and he grew on heather....when he had on the suit she was really into him, lol!!! there's supposed to be a sequel, which im very happy about!! sad thing is, theyre not sure if the original cast is gonna do it. if they do NOT, whats the point??

yes, that's what i got from how he did it, lol!! he just didnt want her mad/hurt. dont worry about him, hopefully he knows good girls from bad ones.

So is Eric excited about Space Camp? I can't thank you enough for recommending it. Jordan called last night from Aviation Challenge and absolutely loves it. Said one kid in his group has already been sent home for fighting.....how cool is that!

Hey guys - just stopping by at a totally wierd hour for me to be DIS'ing, but I am trying to do some work - and well, that means I must DIS.

Everything is fine after today, but more follow ups are needed. She had blood drawn to do some chromosomal workups - see she has numerous little things wrong, and I mean little, but when taken together they get worrisome. Everything obvious has been ruled out, but they want to see if they can target stuff we can't see - i.e. not behavioral. On the related matter of her positional plagio, she needs to have some follow up visits rapidly to see if we get some more progress (we've had a lot in the last few weeks - amazing progress and I am shocked I have been able to get it, truthfully), and then in the next couple of weeks, we will determine whether she needs a helmet or not. She will be getting physical therapy for her tilt she now has in the way she holds her head - again caused by the way she lays her head.

It seems bad when written out, but really, nothing really is going on with her - its all cosmetic. They found her to be a totally pleasant baby beyond belief - she smiled within a minute of them drawing blood, she cooed at every doctor, med student, and PA she saw and gave them huge smiles, and she basically is above normal for all developmental indicators.

So essentially what lays ahead of us is all good - if she needs a helmet I guess I am OK with it, but I don't think she will - if they find anything in the chromosome test, I say, Thank God they did it and we had a proactive doctor. So in my mind its all really fine stuff.

Oh, they did find that even though everyone says she will be a piano player because she has the longest fingers anyone has ever seen, she will not be one. She has some fusion in her bones of her two ring fingers that no one had ever noticed - but that will now be added to her list of little "things". So I guess I am a little sad about that, but come on - she's going to be a Supreme Court Justice anyways so its neither here not there and I hated piano lessons anyways.

Wow Castlegazer, that's some wild stuff you got goin' on. Most of it I don't even understand. It's great you are getting her tested so early, just in case there is some kind of problem they can address it right away. Lainie was born with a blonde (almost white) streak in her hair on the side. No one thought much of it, but my pediatrician said by itself it is nothing, but if combined with a couple of other things it can be some disease that I can't friggin' remember the name of right now. Anyway, we had her hearing tested when she was around 6 months old because apparently loss of hearing is one of the things that people with this disease have. She doesn't have any hearing problems, but we need to have her tested every so often. The blonde streak is gone now, though, so i don't know what to think of it. Babies is crazy.

Um...so you want to hear about my recent Princess Cruise...ok...but you might reget it...I'm a bit longwinded today...
And that was my cruise.....you should go too...you'd love it!!!

Cadmom - wow, what a great report. I loved the waah waaah about Jordan. I get the same way about my son, and he's almost 26!!!

How do you compare the Princess with the Disney Cruise ... obviously it misses the magic, but how about accommodations, food, service, etc? Just curious.

Oh, I totally agree - I also like sharing a table and getting to know new people. We had a mini suite with a butler - YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN'T BEAT THAT WITH A STICK! It was awesome!!! I understand now they don't provide the butlers for the mini-suites any more - that would totally ruin it for me. He would come in in the morning while we still slept and set up our hot breakfast out on hte verandah (which are big enough there for a full table and chairs) with the silver carafes and our omlets steaming. It was soooo great every morning to wrap our robes over us and go out and eat right there.

That is so cool, but I'd be afraid my butler might see my backside when he came through. I always kick off the covers! Or did you have a door protecting your privacy???

I might to avoid this thread awhile because I learnt about Ding on the budget board and that move my trip from Dec/Jan to Oct. Then I was looking at the DVC rent board---so now my quick getway has turned into a Deluxe trip (I'm most likely to do Value the first night). You people are such a bad influence---we were going to build a computer this fall.

I'm not even going to look at the cruise board---don't need to make this trip a land/sea combo.

I better add Disneyland boards to my "avoid the temptation" list.

I only downloaded Ding to watch for low fares to Houston, Baltimore, and MHT (for Boston area).

I forgot about the F&W when I booked the airfare---at least we can stumble back to our room.

OOOh , Belle, I LOVE Ding! I got $84 each way for each of us to fly to Oakland to see DH's parents. Such a deal! I'm kinda watching for December to come out, just in case there's a hop to Orlando in my future.

And you should look at a land/sea combo. We've done it twice and LOVED it. You would, too. You can build a computer next year!
