No signs of cicadas in NC, but we have saucer size mosquitos in our yard.

I hate mosquitoe spray even more, so we stay inside alot when the mosquitoes are real bad.

We watched POTC 2 last night....hopefully we go see POTC 3 next month.

Eric went to see POTC 3 with friends today Geoff goes tomorrow..
maybe even Mom and Dad will see it too some day..

I'm so excited to see the third one, and so is Stephanie. But I told her that she can't go to the theater, because I wanted to see it first to make sure it was appropriate for her to watch (She saw the 2nd one w/o me knowing, I probably wouldn't have let her see it if I saw it first)

Eric went to see POTC 3 with friends today Geoff goes tomorrow..

We had a pretty low key Memorial Day yesterday (which is a nice change). We took a ride to Kevin's parents to see how is dad is doing, and he's doing much better - thank goodness, I was worried about him.

Today I have a meeting with someone from the newspaper (advertising), and I'm really hoping that sign goes up today If it doesn't, than I'm really going to be mad!!!!!


Well, I gotta go get ready for my day - have a good day everyone!!

What a stressful day yesterday!!!!!
MY SIGN IS STILL NOT UP!!!!!
The sign guy totally dropped the ball, and didn't fill out all the right paperwork. So I had to make a bizillion phone calls to get all this right, and make sure all the right people filled out their paperwork, and then make sure that the filled paperwork was sent to the town, and received in the right hands at the town. What a joke!!!!! So....now that all this paperwork is filled out, and the correct people in the town have received it, I should hopefully get my sign today This whole thing is like a soap opera


Well, I gotta go and get ready to receive, or not receive my sign this morning. If this sign doesn't go up today, heads are going to role!!!! (well not really, but it sounded good )

I think she is going to work out great!
I just wish she went to college around here
It's to bad that she's leaving already the beginning of August.
But, she will come back on breaks and during holidays

We got to know some of our neighbors better...short gathering around one's neighbor's bbq to talk about the latest in neighborhood crime (a house was ransacked and items including credit cards were stolen).

A couple of the neighbors' kids told us that dream of our garden and they were excited about the squash and tomatoes.

That's nice you got to know some of your neighbors, but how scary about the house that got ransacked I sure hope that never happens again in your neighborhood.

We saw Pirates yesterday

And all I can say is - I WANT A 4TH NOW!!!!!!

I did love the movie - it's not my favorite out of the 3, but I did love the movie!!!
