I'm taking the summer off.

that is when I am really jealous of my friends that teach.. a whole summer off..wouldn't that be wonderful..just beach and sun and fun... Ha HA.. Yes i know your a MOM, so the summer off means doing Mom work full time and those extras like clean closets, paint rooms, weed and plant and weed some more etc..

Well I restrained myself and only had 2 scoops at Ben And Jerry's yesterday.. One when I got on the train to go home and one with the boys after dinner. i had CHOCOLATE THERAPY Ice Cream.. it was chocolate ice cream, with chocolate pudding and big brownie pieces in it.CADSBURYMOM you gotta try this!!!. YUMMY!!! It even beat out my all time favorite half baked 2 twisted.. http://www.benjerry.com/our_products/flavorWorld.cfm There is even a Neapolitan Dynamite flavor for CMOM.


Well I have to pretent to work again... DID I mention that I have a new manager who has never managed before and just turned 30 ( not that there is anything wrong with that but) and it driving me and my colleagues nuts.. Work is not fun these days..

OK, I have a bit of a quandry... My 25th HS Reunion is on the same dates as my DVC Member cruise. So the quandry is obvious; Do I tell them where I'll be or not???

Cadburysmom---- I hope Morgan did alright with last night's storms. We had hail, wind, and lots of nearby lightening strikes plus lots of rain. Jessie has been nervous all day---she wanted to be in her kennel to catch up with her sleep.

Ibouncetoo YES! I saw the WWII Memorial in Washington and it is awesome. A great tribute to your parents. You must come east and see it. I'll actually be out your way tomorrow. Am changing planes in Phoenix on my way to California...never been to Phoenix before but heard they've got some wild and crazy DCL cruisers out there ...and if you suddenly hear your name faintly yelled in a southern accent, it'll be me shouting a big hello from the airport!!!

NC Belle Poor sweet Jessie We didn't have the heavy hail storms you had but enough rain, thunder and lightening to keep Morgan a'shakin all night. And thanks for the computer help...I think I'll give the Geeksquad a call next week

Tigger Fans! Hello there...so good to hear you are doing well!

slo How are your sweet girls? Your cute siggie pic always makes me smile

Well, as I mentioned before, I'm off to California first thing in the morning. My elderly aunt had a stroke over the weekend and my uncle is suffering from Alzheimers(we think). I'm flying out with my dad to move them into assisted living and get their affairs in order. My dad is 77 and needs help getting around. Not a fun trip for sure but something that has to be done. Should be back Tuesday if I'm lucky but we'll stay as long as needed. Jordan wanted to go too, but he'll have to wait for a happier trip when Disneyland and Sea World are on the agenda.

I'll check-in next week when I get back....until then, have a great week and try to behave yourselves!

Okay--- which coast is more fun in the fall?

East coast (WDW) or West coast (DL/???)

or should we consider Chicago or Texas or Phoenix as our belated 10th anniversary trip (what was I thinking when I chose July for a wedding date---oh yeah...fireworks )?


I'm even thinking about just visit various family members and having a vegetable garden.

If we chose DL then it will most likely off-site because of airfare.

No cruises---I'm not ready to spend that much with the extras.

Thank you for asking about my girls - they are doing great!!! Stephanie is playing soccer now and loves it. Katie is growing up so fast. She is potty trained now and is going to start dance soon. They are growing up so fast (two smilies needed for that one).

NC Belle DL/DCA/SeaWorld/SD Zoo is a fun trip. BTW the "offsite hotels" are closer to the parks than the "onsite". We stayed directly accross the street at the Carousel. WDW has FREE DINING, Everest, the food and Wine festival and MNSSHP.Plus there is also SeaWorld and US/IOA.
Chi is nice in the fall the leaves turn pretty colors and fall off the trees, there is football ( da bears and the Palatine Panthers to watch Eric play), Fremd Cross Country which is always exciting, Six Flags in Gurnee and sometimes baseball ( White Sox or Cubs). There is a Ghiradelli's in DT Disney (both coasts), SD, and Chicago.
