MR BACK's Back!

Hey, you all - here I am posting from my new DSL connection at home - HOW COOL!

Ok - now that I have officially been a ***** today on the DIS after having extensive tooth work this morning. I can now come home here and be nice again.

OF - I have no idea why the books were put together in a different order - but I know for school we read them in a weird order, but I never found out extactly why - I am going back and re-reading them now. Oh, and I was just giving you fake grief about skimming - I thought you were being funny, actually, so I was trying to be funny back at ya. Guess I failed. My effort at getting her a tag failed too. I thought a perfect one would have been one her famous lines about "for the love of.....", but alas, I was wrong.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ibouncetoo!!!!!!!!

I'll give you a proper one tomorrow - dishes await me.

To all the rest of you packers - I AM SOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!

CG, What was wrong with the Tooph? If you were to post in the Tech Support thread, they will sometimes help contact the Tag Fairy; but it does get to be a tender subjet.... I try not to ask too much of them...those pixies can be very moody.

As far as the skiming goes... WELL, :guilty: OK, I admit it... But the Peep double meaning was roo much to pass up.....

:jumping2:

Morning..

Glad you finally got the DSl to work castlegazer

and BTW , I don't think that Cat 1-3 need their own beach either.. LOL

That was fun last night, just zooming around the Internet. I downloaded some scrapbooking kits I have been oogling, but wasn't able to download as it would have taken about ten years on a dial up. I can't believe how fast DSL is - I think it was faster than my T-1 line here at work can be.

OF - I have been a bad little girl, when I moved out here premanently, I never really found a dentist I liked. So, I have not been to a dentist in over 3 years. Before that time I was sooo good, and my parents had spent a lot of money on my teeth. I felt like I was washing that down the drain. I finally got up the nerve to go to a new dentist only to have them be a churn and burn shop suggesting everything from crowns to replacements for my perfectly healthy teeth. This set me off again for another year. Which leads me to now. I found a good one through friends at work and went yesterday and they cleaned my teeth - replaced my silver fillings which had degenerated, and told me that overall, everything is OK. Its just that the replacement of the fillings, which I knew needed to be done, was pretty extensive. I drank wine and downed aspirin last night to numb the pain after the novacaine wore off.

Hey, geffric, how are things with you and your siblings? The part of the process you went through last weekend is a very dreadful process. Is everything going smoothly?

Instead of meeting you all down in WDW I think I may take Friday off an hang out with my husband (fair trade I think ;) ). The kids' daycare is still open that day and he has the day off, so we may be able to get away by ourselves for a little bit - a total luxury.

CG... OUCH. I went to a guy who knew how to charge, found a customer who is semi-retired.He has like 6 shops that specialize in working with low economic families. I think I am the only one he still does cosmetic dentistry on....

Good morning Geffric!!!
:jumping2:

castlegazer We read the will and the trust agreement and divided up who made what calls and cancelled what... it was a very long and emotional day..

and so you would rather be with your honey, than have food and wine and choclate with the birthdaycelebratingibounce, CHOCOLATESISTAS plus ChocolateTeen?? :rotfl:

geffric ylk, but probably feels good to have it over.

Think Boma, Zebra Domes!!! ::yes::

The tornado was in Indiana. I have a friend that literally lives 2 blocks from where it hit. No damage at all. Mother nature has been incredible this year. I'm expecting boat loads of snow!

I need to see what the Farmers Almanac has to say.

Hey everyone, it is 83 degrees here and feels hotter.

Lewsky, how are you feeling? Any Baby Sonograms for us? I hope you are doing well, we miss having you around.

You aren't as bad as I was. I had a horrible experience as a young child (one visit and my mom never took me back there), then had two great dentists. In college, I would just go to the dentist back home when I was on break. Well once I started working, I never managed to find a dentist.

Then I got married and starting having kids and used pregnancy and nursing as an excuse (Yes I know you can go when pregers). It was just a fear thing. I began to feel very stupid for the money/time I spent coloring my hair ect... that I knew I had to go. Finally when my oldest DD was about old enough for her first visit I got up with never to go. And I survived. I have been every six months since.

It was just over 10 years between visits. And much to my surprise I just had two very small cavities. I figured I would have a dozen or so.

I'm worse than you. I had not visit the dentist since maybe community college. I had no cavities---but, I going to need work done next year or so (wisdom teeth). NC Beast is having 5 cavities filled this week--but, he does go every 6 months.

I had forgotten how much this hurt, so have him ready the margarita maker from later that night when the novacaine wears off. My mouth is still throbbing at night and especially after cold water. I had three done, one was a deep replacement of my silver filling. That's the one that still bothers me a little.

I go back for three more tomorrow. :guilty:

Goodmorning everyone - someone just PM'd me and wished me a Disney Day out of the blue - how cool is that????!!!!!! (giving me support because I still feel bad about flying off the handle). It made my morning.

Ughhh, last night I stayed up waaaaaaay too late scrapbooking and playing with my DSL connection, and when I went to bed I no sooner had laid my head down and Catrina woke up suffering from this awful cold she has now - not being able breathe through her nose, coughing, and whining because I can tell her throat hurts. It took me about an hour to settle her back down, give her some Tylenol, and get her to sleep. Then as I lay my head down again, litterly as I touch the pillow, my son calls out that he has had an accident!

Lets just say, Diet Coke will be my friend today!

Good morning al! :sunny:

Sorry I've been MIA lately...busy, busy, busy...Jordan's been home sick  luckily not strep, just some nasty virus.

Geffric  Wish I could be there to give you a hug. You've been through the ringer and definitely in need of some Micky Magic...you deserve this trip like no other :(

Cheeringmom Maybe after a little housecleaning, you could find the $$$ to join us at Cape May ::yes:: Try checking under couch cushions, in pants pockets and even, oops, "accidentally" breaking the kid's piggy banks...I always find my financial situation much better after those activities :p ;)

Lewski So glad you were out of harm's way...I'm askeered of them tornados :scared:

Just look at my countdown clock.....WOO HOO! :Pinkbounc

Busy packing and getting ready to meet ChocolateSista and her handsome ChocolateTeen, not to mention help celebrate cool cruiser Ibouncetoo's birthday! :cool1:  :Pinkbounc :cake: :drinking1 :mickeybar

Castlegazer--- I was wrong---NC Beast is having 4 cavities filled--2 on each sides in 2 different appointments because in 2 fillings, he will reach this year's deductible. I think we are having breakfast for dinner and pastas for a couple days.

Cadburysmom--- are you sure that you still want to go? You can have the "Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, and Becky Thatcher experience" right here in NC with a special twist. :teeth: Instead of finding paint brushes on Tom Sawyer Island...
Okay--have a safe trip!

Huh? Um, no, I don't think so,thanks anyway ;) Please tell da Beast I said good luck at the dentist :( poor guy, dentists are no fun. And you know WDW is never the same without you...just checked my luggage and neither of you were in there so I guess I'm flying solo after all :p

Geffric I'm leaving now for WDW and will alert the "chocolate police' of your upcoming arrival :earsgirl: :earsboy:
Two ChocolateSistas in one place has never been done before and they're gonna need all the reinforcements they can get :earseek:  :rotfl2:

Looking forward to seeing you and ChocolateTeen Friday night! :cool1:
