MR BACK's Back!

YES! You get the prize!

CMom - I am all about driving around Orlando. I do it for work and for vacation and its super easy - that is compared to driving up here. There are excellent maps available everywhere (even on-line there are some really awesome virtual maps) and it is sooo much easier, in my opinion, to stay in a condo. Even if you pay for parking, its really not that much, and you probably won't even burn through a full tank of gas during your whole stay - so it will be less than $50 of gas - that does not even come close to what you will be saving. I say DO IT!

Only recently have I begun staying on property. I like life outside the parks. I am a huge fan of Orlando and all it has to offer. I love going up to International Drive and no trip is complete without a stop at City Walk for me. We amost always spend most of our trips out at the beach in Cocoa Beach.

If I can do it you can too.
I'm so glad you have the faith!! hehehe. It would have been just my 5 yr old and I. But now my college kid wants to go on the adventure so we will probably wait until winter break and go in Jan. The rooms on site are cheaper then too.

btw did I tell you all sam is now a Gator cheerleader? She made the advanced competitive squad. Watch for her on ESPN :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Lew I hear ya on getting rid of things. I had to buy all new for the baby but I definatley had no doubts about giving the stuff away this time. No more!!! :rotfl:

ibounce, is geffric putting the squeeze on you for the meet??? hahahah :earsgirl: she has a great plan....

off to work in the kin. class today. ugh!

WAY TO GO SAM!!!!!

Good morning all, Happy Rosh Hashana!!!!!

May all of your names be written in the book of life!

PD to everyone who needs it. This is a joyful part of the serious holiday season. We celebrate the ending of an old year and the beginning of a new one. It also marks the start of a time of reflection. We are supposed to think back and apologize to our fellow man (or wonan) for any sins we have comitted. This goes for all sins- Public, Private, Knowing or Unknowing. This time culminates with Yom Kippur- where we fast to get closer to God, and pray for his forgiveness.

We also hear the Shoffar today. It is a special Rams Horn. This is a special wake up, and celebrate the new year.

If I have comitted any sins against any of you, please let me know. I do humbly ask you for your forgiveness.

that pic with Carter is NO "Pinnochio nose" pic as I'm sure most of the girls at his school will attest to, at least the ones with good taste anyway ;)

Castlegazer You never cease to amaze me with your princess weekends. We spent summers at Boothbay Harbor when I was a child and I loved it. Actually hated it the first summer 'cause rocky beaches and frigid water is just NOT what we consider the "beach" down here, but once I realized we were there for the DIFFERENCE, I truly began to appreciate it. :) So glad you had a nice weekend....any "princess" plans for this weekend?

Ibouncetoo :confused3 So does this mean you will DEFINITELY be joining the ChocolateSistas in Nov? :goodvibes

Happy Thursday everyone! :cool1:

Boothbay Harbor was very neat to spend time in - not a place for swimming. We got to the beach in what they call Downeast in York. And yes, I do have Princess plans this weekend. I am going to be wearing a ball gown as a matter of fact......I am a bridesmaid for my BIL's wedding. We leave tomorrow for Maine again for a beach wedding in October while Tropical Storm Tammy bears down on us - yup, should be a freakin blast! :cold: :sad2: Anyways, it should be a really fun get together for the family as we haven't had a wedding in a while. I just hope my BIL gets a clue and moves the ceremony inside. It should be really awesome photo opportunities too as My husband and I are in the wedding party and my son is the ring bearer. OUr wedding photographer is going to be theirs so we should get some spectacular shots of all of us.

Cool! We're going to a wedding, too, this weekend! In Playa del Carmen! :teeth: :sunny:
Gotta love that cousin....whole family kept begging for a destination wedding and they went for it! Woo hoo!
It probably won't be cold, but last I checked we may be in for a lot of rain! :umbrella: Everybody keep your fingers crossed for us for good weather!

Well, nothing is BOOKED yet, but plans are in place.....portions pending. I WILL be coming...I WILL be there Thu-??? I may be somewhere else prior to arriving at WDW on Thursday.........somewhere WET....hehehehehehehe. I won't know till after this weekend. Ooops, I lied, actually something is BOOKED, but still in flux for about a week ;) But I'll be seeing YOU at Cape May ::yes::

geffric, the plan I came up with this morning......is REALLY attractive

Good Morning all and thanks for the breakfast Geffric...
:jumping2:

OK Disney fans, which would you choose :confused3

For the same $$ you could:

Do a 7 Day Western on DCL with one pre-cruise night at a value, alone, a few months in the future.

~~~ or ~~~
A 4 night Bahamas, with one pre-cruise night at a value, alone, FOLLOWED by three nights at a value at WDW including meals AND getting to play with friends, one month away. (You already own a 2 day park hopper and have included a one day-one park ticket in this total).
OK, the cabin catagory/location and air fare are identical in both sceanerios. Yes chocolatesistas may vote.
I am not a Sistah, but I have an opinion... IF the 4 night cruise is Disney, Option 2. If you have to go on another cruise line...Option one. Yes, I am a DCL Snob.....
Good morning all, how about a big bowl of Chocolate Malt-O-Meal for breakfast!!!!!
:jumping2:
How can that compare???? A 4 day Wonder to get your feet wet so to speak and then several days with us!!! Cape May Friday night, Boma Saturday night.. hmmmmmmm.... although the 7 day Western would be fun too... but will it be as much FUN as celebrating your b'day by cruising and WDW with US ...
Ibouncetoo Couldn't agree more!!! :cake: :banana:
Castlegazer Sounds like it's wedding weekend around here! :bride: :groom: Hope you had a wonderful time and it wasn't too cold! :cold: And what a great family photo op...maybe you'll share a few with us ::yes::
Kadaten A wedding in Playa Del Carmen....how cool is that! Crossed my fingers you'd have good weather and a safe trip...can't wait to hear how it went :sunny:
NC Belle Are things pretty wet on your side of town? :umbrella: And how cool is that new 64 bypass! :goodvibes
Well boys and girls, looks like I'll be cruising for my birthday! PixieMagic isn't ready to pick cruise dates yet for 2006, so I'm going ahead with the Wonder (she's already done Nassau) for my birthday. Must start clicking away with the e-mails and internet. Confirm change with travel agent (the lovely and talented iluvtink), book airline and first night (I'm thinking POFQ), update geffric on my departure date, decide where to have dinner Sat and Thu night (not in a park). THEN I have to think about what I want to do at the parks! Gotta cram in a lunch at 50's prime time and a ride on the water mice (or whatever they call them now).
Fortnately, yesterday while doing errands, I happened to stop in at Ross on a whim. Came out with a GREAT outfit to wear to dinner on the cruise, just need the pants and sleves of the jacket hemmed. Picked up a dress also, in case I have to go to Las Vegas for a birthday celebration.
Well, better run.... I'v got lists to write!!
Well, I'm officially booked, even went on line and booked Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure. Palo, of course, was all booked up for the internet reservations, so I'll have to do that when I get on board (want to do brunch on the 7th). Got a great room 7125.....deck seven, aft...just what I wanted. Now I can sneak off to the secret verandah and have my morning tea.
I'm off to Sports Authority to see if they have a snorkel mask that fits over prescription eyeglasses.
imcruisingimcrusingimcrusing.............
