DHB, loved LOST, of course, but am hoping this doesn't turn completely into a "Lord of the Flies" kind of thing. I'm not interested in a 'war' show. I've been enjoying some of the speculation on the DIS Lost threads.

It will be great when the walls are framed on your house....that's when it starts to fell 'real' if you know what I mean.

I agree, hope it doesn't turn Lord of the Flies esque. I thought it was a little slower than the previous week's episode. I didn't understand why they just took off without Eko. It had a lot of holes in it in my opinion. But, enjoyable as always!

DHB - you are SUCH a DeadHead! I too hope you get to be a groupie at some stop for Widespread Panic!

Now geffric -I have to tell you that I fell when I was Geoff's age skiing and instead of what he did, I jammed my ski pole into my mouth. I ripped off my permanent bottom teeth retainer, broke my root of my top tooth, and basically got the coolest ride down the mountain on the sled of the Ski Patrol. To this day I get my top tooth X-rayed every six months, and my bottom teeth became irreversibly crooked. I never lost my top tooth, but it still makes me nervous that it may happen - 20 years later.
And now I am jamming to teach my son skiing - Its a super fun sport with a ton of drawbacks.

I am so glad that he is going to be fine. I do know that the minute my son gets on skis he will be outfitted with a helmet, which I already have for him.

Slo, never been to the Weber Grill. When we went to Chicago, we visted all the "tourist traps" like Ed Debevics (sp) Rainforest and of course Chicago style pizza. I love Chicago. Even went to the studios to have our pics taken with Jerry Springer-in disquise of course- but he wasnt't there! hehe

Guess where I am off? To the gym! While dh is away I want to lose about 15 pounds and get back to where I was when I moved to Florida!!

You go girl!!!! I have been so stressed about this cruise issue that I am packing on the pounds - when my husband gets stressed he loses sooo much weight it's sick - when I get stressed I get super plumpy! Its totally unfair!

I need to lose 20 lbs before the cruise so I can fit into my bathing suit.. only 2 months, yep 8 weeks.let's see 20 lbs in 8 weeks??? . could be possible if I don't eat desserts between now and then.. or maybe it could be possibe if I only eat chocolate between now and the cruise.. Hmm wait that wouldn't be any different than now.. got to think on that one... maybe I'll have a bit of Ghiradellis to munch on the help my brain clear..

I just left the most idiotic message for one of my managers - I went down to his office and said, "sorry about that, I am working on my degree from the University of Idiot and sometimes I bring my work home with me." Man, was I embarrassed. It was one of those rambling, make no sense messages where at the end of it I made an *** out of myself because I realized that the whole first part was completely wrong.

My turn CG... I had a "Survey" calling me askng me our preparedness for disasters. It was multiple choice, but it was drsigned to skew the results. It was also very vague. After the 4th question that didn't have close to an applicable answer, I hung up saying that the survey is not a valid one and hence not worth my time or effort...

Ibounce outpatient stuff is as fun as inpatient. YLK to them both! My DH is having an outpatient thing done Friday too. Better out than in, but still....no fun.

Morgansmom you and your lose weight, bwaaaaaahaaaaaaaa. Hey, why don't you and DHB do a diet together. Good lord, put you both on the scale and it barely passes 2 bills. Maybe the kind of diet you two need it large, gigantic doses of anything you can find with chocolate and booze.

NCBelle no trips planned for me either. It truly is depressing. Next time I go, we'll be paying for the lil guy. He's three next weekend. No way I can cram in a trip now.

Castlegazer--- I must be working on the same degree since a couple of days ago.....let us just say NC Beast almost got in the dog house for laughing too hard at me for ummm...almost super gluing myself to my sneakers. I thought that I didn't really need gloves to fix them. The situation would have gone un-notice if I knew where I had some nail polish remover/acetone (I was out of that).

We have been a bit sad this past week or 2 because of several situations coming at once along with us having colds/? virus. We may still go on some trips, but... if we spend some time with NC Beast's parents--> we would be stuck visit just about every old person/family members instead of doing fun stuff. Well, my folks have the fun toys (plus some of my games/toys) like the pool table and darts so our trips there are not bad plus they like doing fun stuff/ sightseeing.

I'm still toying with a Texas trip.

NCBelle I know what you're going through noodling around vacation ideas. I have to come up with some place to go with my time share points (have enought for one week pretty much anywhere thru RCI) to do a trip with big sister. Can't cost a whole lot to get there (so were staying in the US) and can't cost a whole lot to play/eat there. She wants art galleries to visit and we're looking to go SOON (Feb/March), so I'm thinking SOMEWHERE along the California coast. Anybody got any ideas???? (We've done San Diego).

Did I mention little sister is cruising with me in November.....so we're upgrading to a cat 6 with a VERANDAH!!

Poor Castlegazer, you're just in shock because the "idiot" thing just doesn't happen to you often enough....now if you were like me, you'd already have that degree framed and hung and be totally at ease with humiliating yourself on a daily basis
