School officially starts tomorrow. Both kids are so ready. They are bored. No kids in the neighborhood. Bummer.

Any big plans for the weekend?

hehehe I'll be the only mom NOT crying dropping off her little one at school!!!

Hmmm, sounds like you're ready for school to start? I wonder if I'll be the same way when Ella starts. I was so sad with the other two, downright depressed when Holly went (but I was pregnant and emotional at that time). But now I'm getting so OLD and this little kid under foot routine is getting OLD too. I may be doing a happy dance when she starts school.

Now, how does the child feel about school starting?

As for the weekend, we have a ball tourney about an hour north of here so we are staying overnight. Living it up in Northern Kentucky! Woohoo! We may even order pizza to the room. That was sarcasm, in case it didn't come through to you. Actually, it should be fun. Especially if we could possibly WIN at least one of the three games.

I just remembered that I wanted to tell you to get a picture of these shoes posted PULEASE! DH has been wearing Vans for over 20 years. I got him a new pair for Father's Day with skulls on them. Yup, he's a cool dude, um, I mean DAD.

OK - I have a bone to pick with kadaten!!!! Girl, you just sucked up all my DIS time by sending me to that thread. I got to page 38 and said, hey, wait, maybe I should see how many damn pages there are here - HOLY CRAP! 132!!!! OK, so I have linked the pages for Julia and Nicks Mom and MidNit. AWESOME stuff!!!

OK - so I will investigate the potential of using some of those designs on some iron transfer stuff. I want to find some beach coverups that are blank to do it on - in reality that is all I wear ona cruise anyways - I rarely wear T-shirts in public - they make me look bad with my chest being so, um, shall we say, voluptuous. I have to get big T-shirts that make me look even bigger than I really am. It stinks.

OK _ so blame Kadaten for this, but I don't have time right now to chit chat.

One, thing, though, CONGRATS on making it to 1st day of Kindergarten CMom!!!!

i never bought any Vans because i dont skate. but my mom FINALLY talked me into getting them....she actually LOVES them!!! we normally disagree when it comes to clothes, shoes, purses, etc. but for some reason she LOVES my vans, lol!! i wanna learn to skateboard too, so i guess it makes sense that i got them. i want this element board...its so hot!! anyways, back to the shoes....that's so awesome that he wears those!! my dad is such a dad, he wears new balances, which are great...i have three pairs of them, but he would NEVER wear vans, lol!! your husband rocks, lol!!

Sowwy! Isn't that thread awesome, though!?! They are SO talented over there! It's easy to find....it's been made the top "sticky" on the Theme Parks forum since it's so popular I've been leaving it open and just refreshing it since it moves so quickly....about 10-12 pages per day....so you've been warned!

But if you still want tie-dyes, I'll be happy to do them!

Yeah, I wasn't crying when mine started preschool on Monday!
Walt goes 3 mornings/week and Abbie 5 mornings/week. They're loving it! Abbie did tell me this morning that she misses her old friends, though, and I gotta say, I miss her old school. This one is good, just not as warm and "homey" feeling as the last ones were....hoping that will come, as this is the first year of this school (it's the second location of a popular school here)....they just need time to settle in and get all the routines ironed out.

SO, you get 1/2 day or full day kindergarden over there???

The ones I got him for Father's Day were the old school slip ons with this print

but they were limited edition and they don't have them at the website anymore.

She's off to see a concert. Pretending she's a collge girl again and all that, don'tcha know. Something about it being the 10th anniversary of her seeing this group Widespread Panic with this friend, her best friend from collge. Now they are both mommies, but not tonight! Tonight they are cutting loose, wild and free. Wild girlz, I suppose?

I'll be sure to deliver her orders to post as soon as she returns from the beautiful town of Pittsburgh. Kewl?

No! Of course not. Actually, mid life crisis aside, he likes Vans because of his bunions. Vans are nice and wide and comfy to him. Besides the fact that he thinks they make him look like a skater dude.

Daniel has no interest in any shoe that doesn't say Nike on it. I think he must be getting money under the table from that company or something. He won't even look at another shoe. He's very brand loyal.

Congrats on the ALL DAY kindergarden Cheeringmom!

DHB's son is going to be starting that soon too. She's a bit worried that she'll miss him too much. Absence makes the heart grow fonder though, right?
