What's everyone's plans for the weekend?


Me and the girls are spending it with my good friend and her DD.
They are coming over tomorrow night for a bonfire, and then we are going with them to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch on Sunday.
It should be a fun weekend!!!

Geoff has a pasta party tonight
Eric and Dh are going to the Fremd game tonight.. i need to clean , laundry and run Geoff around town- drop off/pick up... so i'll stay home
Then tomorrw -
Geoff has a cross country meet in Aurora.. Dh is going to go to that one as he has friends in Sugar grove.
Eric plays football tomorrow am - the Freshaman from Fremd vs Schaumburg.

geoff has to work on home work and continue watching the civil war ( all 10 hours of it) so he can write the paper an do the project.

Eric has homework and mowing lawns et al..

The Sunday - Geoff and I head off to MT Veron IA to visit Cornell College..and Eric and DH are going to the Field museum for part of Eric's homework stuff..
Monday - Cornell college visit stuff and drive back.. Geoff is driving most of the way there and back.. so be warned!!!

We have no real plans for this weekend. NC Beast won't be home until 930pm tonight, eat, etc. and then get up at 5 am to go to cover Saturday's hours for his office. He has Monday as a paid holiday.

What I'm really looking forward to are the caramel apples and cinnamon apples donuts - yum!!!

It's no wonder why I always gain weight this time of year

I brought home 2 dozen apple cinnamon donuts, 6 caramel apples, kettle corn, and candy from a candy store close to the apple orchard. But I also brought home some apples - so that's healthy

It is fun, but it would have been more fun if it wasn't so unseasonably hot outside. Poor Katie was literally dripping with sweat. You would have thought she was playing in a sprinkler, that's how wet she was But we managed, and now we have all these apples that I have no idea what to do with

I didn't start the day out very well today
I woke up and found my coffee grounds, and coffee water all over the floor, thrown rug, and counter. Grounds and more grounds everywhere - what a mess, and I HATE cleaning up coffee grounds (especially super early in the morning) I hope this is not an indication of how the rest of the day is going to be

So, what is everyone doing this weekend?
I'm working tomorrow, having Katie's Halloween pictures taken on Sunday morning, and the rest of the time is dedicated to only laying out clothes for packing.


Well, I'm off to make my poll for the day - I have no idea what to do

Last night we celebrated at Kevin's parents. They gave me some money for vacation, a gift card, and a new sports watch that I can wear in the pool Then they also got me a birthday French Silk pie

I've been wearing jeans this past week, and I'm alot more wimpy than you - I turned on our furnace

Our house is at 80 without the heat on---we closed our vents so that kept enough warm air in the crawlspace during the past couple nights. I think that we will have the heat on before we go on the trips.

I'm not sure what Mom is making for my birthday cake. She has to be careful about her carbs and her sugar levels spike more because her new medicines for various conditions (but, not for her diabetes---its diet control/exercise for that).

It's good to be home!!!

I slept great in my own bed, and now I'm off to shower in my own shower (I'm very picky about my showers, and no one's shower is as good as mine I actually just like my shower head - outside of that, it's not that special )
