i am planning on getting my husband's decorative finish sample photos bound into one of Mpix hard cover books. the paper choice is pearl, linen and 100 text...could you tell me which iyo would give the nicest color accuracy and show the most of some of the subtle details on some of his finishes. Thanks

I have heard a lot of bad things about the linen paper. Check the forums over at mpix.com, there are a lot of helpful people over there. I had a book done and it turned out great. I wish they had a ICC profile for the book printers but they didn't. They came out a little to light for me, but never the less, still great quality.

Jen i had one made at shutterfly that came out great but that was for granddaughter and it was great for that, this i wanted to see if the photos would be a little better quality since it's for samples and if the paper etc was a little better quality. shutterfly was just patterned glossy paper and had a glossy rather than cloth cover. but i'd use shutterfly again for just normal pics. photo of that one is here but as you can see not real "professional" looking for work related photos http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1482819
