mp3 question?

This may be a dumb question, but do all mp3 players work with itunes or only ipods. Are there other music services that are better? Thanks for the input.

iTunes downloads music in AAC format, not MP3, and the only player that can play the AAC songs is the iPod.

I prefer http://allofmp3.com/ for downloads. They are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper (all songs under 20 cents, albums under $2), and they download in MP3 format which works on any play (including iPod).
