I live in Orlando...
As far as weather, winter varies... we get cold fronts, can get down in the mid 30's for a few days, but I would say winter average is in the 60's
We don't really have a spring... just starts getting into the 80's (and it already is in the 80's now)
Summer is H-O-T! Mid 90's, humidity is very high, but that is why humans invented air conditioning

As long as you don't have to work outside, it's bareable.
Fall is short, it just gets in the mid to high 70's and thats not until Mid to late Octomber.
Bugs? Well we are subtropic so we've got them

THe worst to me are the roaches.. something northern people don't really understand until the see a Florida roach! In the summer we have the usual gnats, but I've seen them up north, it's not like Florida is invested. Just different bugs... oh and lizards EVERYWHERE.
Hurricanes... Haven't had a bad one in a while, a few tropical storms, and even when they do "hit" Orlando, we are so far inland, that all we get is heavy rain and some wind. Nothing dangerous or life-threatening, and huricanes are predictable, so even people on the coast who are more at risk can prepare.
Orlando is a great town to live in, I love it. Lot's to do around here, overall, I would say the weather is appealing (I do complain about the heat from time to time, but the northern DISers on this board think I am crazy and I should live thru a winter snowstorm). I would say the BIG down side to Orlando right now is the traffic. But every developing city has that problem.
Anyway, hope that answers your questions
