Moving to Orlando (probably) - help me decide

All children qualify with medical issues. $250 is the monthly maximum payment
I believe you are referring to the CHIP program? If so, not many people will qualify as the income must be under a certain amount. OP. Look on the website, my DS has an underlying medical condition, but because of the income bracket ( you have to be under like 43000 for a household of 3 for example) we would never qualify either.
We also have florida kidcare here, which can be subsidized based on income, or you can buy a full priced plan if you don't qualify based on income. However, we have found that many of my DS specialist are not covered on their plan, so we chose not to get this.
If there is another plan I'm not aware of other than these two, I'd love to know as well!

Thank you. Glad to here. You are comfortable walking around your neighborhood with your children? That’s super important to me. We 100% would rent first for Atleast a year just to see. The problem with that is, we wouldn’t know where to rent because our oldest will be going into high school and don’t want to rent in one town and then move to another and some of these schools don’t look too bad so leaning towards public vs private school.
Absolutely, the Windermere area is a wonderful place to walk, bike, or run! There are sidewalks everywhere and most days you will see people out walking their dogs, exercising, or just enjoying a stroll. Many of the neighborhoods have beautiful, tree-lines streets. The high schools in our area are highly rated, and there are a few private school options. I don’t think you will have trouble finding a good school here.

Thank you! I’m also now looking at new developments in winter garden but when I look it looks like Windermere and winter garden are similar?

Yes, they run right into each other. The neighborhoods look very similar. I would live in Winter Garden, as well.
