I believe you are referring to the CHIP program? If so, not many people will qualify as the income must be under a certain amount. OP. Look on the website, my DS has an underlying medical condition, but because of the income bracket ( you have to be under like 43000 for a household of 3 for example) we would never qualify either.All children qualify with medical issues. $250 is the monthly maximum payment
We also have florida kidcare here, which can be subsidized based on income, or you can buy a full priced plan if you don't qualify based on income. However, we have found that many of my DS specialist are not covered on their plan, so we chose not to get this.
If there is another plan I'm not aware of other than these two, I'd love to know as well!
