You can shop online at kohl's they have a pretty good selection online as well but the shipping can be expensive if they aren't running a shipping special and you are ordering multiple items.

What am I going to do???

I do all my houseware shopping at Kohls and buy all my bra's and undies there too when they are 50% off. I do ALL my grocery shopping at SuperTarget... I hate Super Walmart. I don't know what I am going to do...

I checked, and Thank Goodness there is a Home Goods... and a BJ's. That's just so exciting. We only have Costco here and for our small family of two all that is good for is paper goods, meats and frozen chicken breast!

Just needed to ask. I understand there is a Kohl's by WDW somewhere... will need to make that trip more often now!

BTW: we are moving to Ft. Lauderdale on Wednesday. And you ask, what am I doing here instead of packing??? Good Question! I was packing my little chef kitchen guy stuff up and thinking I'd like a new theme down there so I came to look and see if there is a Kohls...then... well you know how that goes!

don't worry anything you need (except kohl's) will be in very close proximity to where you are. it's not like you're going to a a small town! i'm only about 45 minutes north of you and I have 1 super target (where my dh works) within 3 miles and another one opening soon within 3 miles of the other direction!
and p.s. i don't see what's so great about kohl's??

Don't forget that just because something doesn't exist NOW, it won't in the near future. FL is constantly growing with new homes and stores being built all the time; construction can continue year round (except if a hurricane hits, and pausing for daily storms most summers) so things are built pretty quickly.

The only thing that makes me cry about that is trying to get into that Costco now! Kohls has great housewares sales.

The one Iloveepcot mentioned in Lakeland is 25 minutes from Brandon-and there's quite a few other places to check out in that center. Great Greek food on the way in-Pappas!

Oh, no kidding about Costco. We've avoided going there for the most part since the construction started because no one seems to know how to drive in that area with most of the entry shut off!

I had no idea there was a Kohls in Lakeland. Thanks for the heads up, Iloveepcot!

The Target at the Sawgrass was expanded and is now officially a Super not a Greatland.

If you're close to "595" it's probably a 15 minute drive.

There is a Kohl's in Clermont also. They just built a new Target in Tavares - not sure if it's a SuperTarget though. (it's a lot bigger than the one by Lake Square Mall though which is only about six miles down the road)

Kohl's recently opened in the new shopping plaza (Town Center?) on Harden Blvd. off the Polk Parkway in Lakeland. Tell your mom to check it out. That shopping plaza is great!


To the OP: Have patience... Kohls just began building stores in Florida. There are a few now in the Central Florida area. It's only a matter of time before they build one where you are moving. It shocks me that there is no Super Target!!! Are you sure????!!!!

I work over that way-the best thing is to hit it in Non-rush hours. You'll notice a lot of people making a U Turn at that light, because they thought they could sneak through the publix parking lot, like you once could.

I lived down here for 5 years now (Tampa area) and though I reeealllly missed Kohl's at first, it went away after awhile. I knew that they opened one in Brandon, but I really don't miss it enough to make the 1 hour drive in crappy traffic to make it worth my while.
Even if there isn't one close to you, you'll get used to your other options!!

And a note about Targets in general, there are definitely not enough in my areea (pinellas co.) I DEFINITELY wish they would hurry up and build more of those!!!!

There's Super Targets. There's one on Bruce B Downs, in Wesley Chapel - right off 275.

We have more than one Super Target (there is one right next to NAS JAX), and one Khol's (so far) with another one being built out by the airport. (A large mall will be going in there, literally feet off of I-95)

We have several SuperTargets, actually 2 are within a few miles of each other, and at least 3 Kohl's.

I live near two SuperTargets and one of the Kohl's, but honestly, I don't love Kohls. It's ok. I do love Target!!

Anyway, come on down!! Jax is growing up fast!!
