moving raw photos from photoshp e5 organizer to canon photo pro

i would like to batch process some raw files and i think i have to transfer my files from photoshop organizer to canon photo professional to do that( don't think pse5 has that option). the pse5 doesn't seem to process raw unless i'm missing something there so....

i have put in via pse5 organizer-file-preferences-editing-use supplement editing- then browsed for photo pro...but all i can enter( can't enter the entire program name) is a component of program ie viewer, editor etc none of which will open the files into the canon program. any idea what i am doing wrong?

I believe you are right about batch processing RAW in PSE5. I think you need to move up to CS2 for that, unless PSE5 can process actions. As for processing RAW, yes, Elements allows you to process RAW files one at a time. Just open the standard editor on the picture you wish to process and you are automatically taken to the RAW processor.

i tried the multiply photo processing after i posted the op and it did do something to the photos, just didn't convert them ...it must have just been doing busy work to fool the boss since they looked totally unchanged but it took about 1+ min per photo to do?????but the raw converted opened for each one and i had to convert them all seperately anyway after it was done doing what ever it pretended it was doing.

what i really want to do is somehow transfer those photos in my pse5 organizer to the canon raw processor since that will do batch processing and according to the MM bookand the pse5 help, i can add that editor program which i tried to do but the photos from my organizer don't ever get to the canon raw processor.. when i tried to add the editor, it can't add the whole canon photo pro editor, just the viewer or the editor or any other seperate function and nothing i add will accept the files or show them on the main page so i can batch process them..so i'm guessing there is some step i am missing that isn't in the stuff i outlined in the op and isn't in the help or book...I might be able to just download with the canon software but with the pse5 i can just hit return to organizer under the edit button( or similarly worded thing) and they are right back where i want them to finish editing. if worse comes to worse i can start another horrendous email cycle with adobe and let them tell me how stupid i am like last time i had a pse5 problem

Do you really need to MOVE/COPY the files to a different location?

Just direct the software to the current location of the files.

i couldn't do that before cause i couldn't get any of the folders to open in the canon...but just now when i tried it again the folders were there...maybe i had to reboot or something as our electricity was off due to storm......anyway i'll trying to batch process now so i'll see how it goes and it should reload them to pse5 when it's done since that's where i said to put them..hoping it works
