I have a placeholder and deposit on a cruise. Tomorrow can I book online to get the cabin I want (hopefully), then get a CM to adjust the price (for the PH) and move the deposit over?

Do you have a specific cruise booked? Or is it a generic placeholder?

Either way, there is a reservation number already assigned to it and it can't be applied to a different booking. If you have an actual cruise date booked, you may be able to modify that online tomorrow. If you have an unspecified placeholder, you will need to call.

Yes. Your placeholder has a reservation number attached to it. They will need that number to convert to a cruise.

If you already converted the placeholder to a cruise, they just transfer it to the new cruise. In order to keep the discount, it must remain attached to that reservation number.

Is DCL extending placeholders through the fall 2022 cruises?

I don't believe so. When I called yesterday she told me they were good through September 30. She also said they hope to have no more cancellations, in which case FCC won't be extended. I know I booked cruises today and the FCC was not an option for payment. Hopefully that will change. But if that was their plan, I think they would have done it today. I expect OBB discounts will fall into the same category.

Just booked Wish stateroom 6696 for a Very Merry X-mas cruise. Wrap-around verandah appears huge! It does have a dining room below, so we'll see what the noise is like. I always wanted to try an Aft corner cabin.
