I just realized that the new disney movie ZOOTOPIA premiers while we are at sea. Does this mean that they will be showing it on the ship as well?

We had the Inside Out premier last Friday on the Fantasy. They did show it at 12:01am Friday and then multiple times throughout the day on Friday in both theaters (2D in one, 3D in the other). Unfortunately that was our Castaway Cay day and no one wanted to give that up for a movie so we still haven't seen it.

Does anyone think that Inside Out will still be playing September 14 on the Dream?

Thtank you.

Probably, unless there are a lot of movies coming out between now and then. Movies onboard tend to play longer than they do in land-based theatres.

Yes it will at some point.

They keep them on for some time.

Thank you both so much. I really wanted to see it but my dd-21 is going tonight with her friend so I wont try to figure out when/ with whom Ill see it since I will just wait until September. Hopefully it will still be playing.

Thanks so much.

Is there anywhere we can go to see what movies will be available on our cruise?
When the dates get close I mean.
We aren't cruising until Aug 31, but I have been racking my brain to figure out what movies could be showing from Disney by then

From the FAQ sticky:

Movies - You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

Call within 2 weeks of your cruise for the best info.

I was looking at a December cruise out of Galveston. There is one leaving on the 18th and that is the day Star Wars VII releases. Will they have it the first night?

Yes. It will have already premiered, so it should play onboard. My guess is it will play in the WDT the first couple of days, and then move to the Buena Vista.

Awesome thanks, what about the cruise before that returns on the 18th? It comes back in the morning of the 18th so would they have a midnight showing the last sea day.. That cruise is $2000 cheaper for the same itinerary.

There have been cruises that had a midnight Prem-ear at Sea on debarkation day when a new movie opened that day.

In the unlikely event it doesn't show on your cruise, the $2000 you save will pay for a trip to your local movie theatre.
