Movies to Chef Mickey

On Tues. Sept. 27th, 17 of us have a 7:05am reservation @ chef Mickey. Myself will be riding an ECV. Will their be a bus running early enough for us to ride from Movies to MK then the tram to breakfast? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes..they run an hour before parks open...

Bus service to the Magic Kingdom for early morning breakfasts begins around 6:15am to 6:30am daily.

Ask one of the bus drivers at your resort for the exact time....don't bother asking the front desk as they will not likely have the correct answer.

Tell your driver that morning that you are going to Chef Mickey's and he/she can drop you off right at the Contemporary rather than the Magic Kingdom.

The buses start running, every day/every resort, by 6:30am. But, with that being said, you still may have an issue with an ADR that early. You would have to be out at the bus stop no later than 6:15 in order to be on the first bus. When you board the bus, ask the driver which is faster, walking or monorail to CR..that you have an ADR at 7:05. The driver 'may' offer to drop you right at the CR, either on the way to MK, or on the way out. But, that isn't something you should count on.
If the driver doesn't offer to drop you, get off the bus, and stay to the right as you head to MK. You will see a sidewalk that runs directly beneath the overhead monorail line. Follow this to the CR..it takes just under 10 mins to walk it.

My issue is that you have to be on the first bus..otherwise, another may not be along until just before 7am. Even if you get on the first bus, you may not get to MK until close to 7 and you need to be at the podium at CMs by 6:55ish.

If you don't want to stress about it, take a cab directly to the CR around 6:45.

There are 2 cars in our group of 17. Perhaps I can have 15 pile into 2 cars (mini van & lg. SUV). Since I will have the ECV, hubby and I should take a cab. How do I go about getting a cab?

Taxis are normally waiting outside all WDW resorts. You just go up to the outside podium and tell the Cast Member on duty that you need a taxi. If for some reason one is not waiting he/she will radio and get you a taxi really fast.
