A lot of movies left me 'thinking', but my mind is drawing a blank right now on which ones. Will have to post more later. Thinking I want to see Sliding Doors now.

Sliding Doors- makes you think how one moment of time really effects your whole life.

That was a good movie. It does make you think how one little change could effect your whole life.

From what I recall, the movie is close to the book. I read the book before seeing the movie.

I also had read the books before I saw the movies. He has another book that is being made into a movie. The Given Day. Great book!

TV Guy and Plutotek - add me to your club! I don't want to think, be scared, be taught something, I don't want to see violence, gratuitous sex, or hear unnecessary foul language. In other words, I want "dancing mice!" My two favorite recent movies are "Young Victoria" and "The King's Speech." I'm a (not-so-closet) Anglophile! I'm 1/4 British, so they're family to me.

I agree with many of these: Mulholland Drive, Crash, The Prestige, Shutter Island.

One that I haven't seen mentioned is 'The Game' with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn. I loved that movie and is definitely worth watching if you're looking for something different.

Love all the suggestions. I enjoy all types of movies as well, but really enjoy the ones where I have to think through them. Guess that's why I loved the show Lost. Tried The Event, but there was something missing there. IDK what.
