We are cruising on the Fantasy August 4-11 and I know the new movie Christopher Robin movie comes out that weekend, and the 2nd Incredibles movies comes out in June so I figure they will both be playing that week on the ship. But I was wondering if A Wrinkle In Time would still be playing on the ship at that time or if we should just go see it now?? We enjoy going to see movies on the ship so the more on there that we like the better!! Also the whole bigger bang for your buck thing anyways does anyone know how long movies stay on the ship after releasing in theaters??

The movies basically stay on the ship til a new release pushes them out of the line-up. Chances are, all three movies will be showing during your cruise.

It can really vary depending on how many new movies are released, but they are usually showing for quite some time. I would say there's a good possibility A Wrinkle in Time will be showing on the ship in August, but it isn't guaranteed. If it is showing, the number of showings will be limited because they will show the Christopher Robin movie and the Incredibles 2 more.

ETA: I looked at some Fantasy Navigators from August 2017. Beauty and the Beast came out in March 2017. Spider-man: Homecoming was released in July and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 both came out in May. Beauty and the Beast had at least one showing each day of the cruise with the exception of embarkation day.

I don't know, but I would guess that A Wrinkle in Time would still be playing. Based on my own experience and on the navigators I've seen posted, the movies tend to be ones that have been in the theaters within the past year, and some even earlier. We are going on a Marvel cruise next month and because of the superhero theme, and if they show the same movies that they've been showing on recent Marvel saiings, they'll likely be showing a lot of the older Marvel films, several years old.

I was wondering - and hoping - that they show A Wrinkle in Time on our sailing even if it's not a superhero movie.

Go see it now anyway!!! It is a beautifully done interpretation of the novel!! I loved it!!!

Keep in mind black panther is out now, infinity wars is coming out soon followed by Antman and Wasp. My guess is that these may all be options.

I would not expect A Wrinkle in Time to be playing much come August. It might get a showing or two, but think of all the Disney movies coming out between now and then and remember that each new one is more likely to be playing more often:
Avengers: Infinity War, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Incredibles 2, and Christopher Robin. Wrinkle will be competing with all of these for screen time, and I have no idea if it will factor in at all but Wrinkle is getting very mixed reviews so they could (again, just conjecture) drop it from the rotation to give better received films more showings.
