movies on Red-eyes

Do they show movies on red-eye flights? We are flying tonight to BWI on American. My DD12 is excited because they are showing Last Holiday. Will we be able to watch it?

They usually do (and unfortunately often comedies with ppl laughing loudly through the night)

Don't count on the same movie as listed, however. Sometimes the machine breaks, sometimes the audio doesn't work, and sometimes the FAs look at the cabin makeup and decide on a differnt movie (I see that on TED flights to/from MCO - they often put on a children's movie instead of the regularly scheduled movie)
