movies at multiple resorts

Hi all. We are planning to do movies under the stars with our toddler an teen. I'm thinking the fantasia pool very night (5) may get old. Disney prohibits pool hopping, but invites you to catch a movie at wherever if your hotel doesn't do it. Does this mean we can catch them at other hotels? I'm thinking especially on our no-park day, dinner and outdoor movie at another resort?

I also assume sightseeing and dining are welcome at other resorts? We will be doing dining so may like to use TS credits at resorts outside of the parks.

Btw I don't have to use one of each type of meal per day, right? Its an allotment as far as I understood.

I'm afraid I don't know about most resorts, but at the BC the movie is held on the beach opposite the hotel, so there should be no problem watching there. I think they also do roasted marshmallows

The BC is one of our favorite movie watching spots. We love sitting in the beach chairs right next to the water, overlooking the Boardwalk. There are tons of places to eat around there. Beaches and Cream and Cape May are both kid friendly. And yes you are right, the meal credits don't have to be used each day, you can use them however you wish over your 5 night stay.

As far as I know,"Movie Hopping" is OK.

If you want to swim and watch a movie in a different "Resort" for a change of scenery,you can always walk over to Calypso or Surfboard Bay(their movie schedule is different than Movies) where pool hopping is OK.

I just remembered that the screen at AoA is inside the fence at The Big Blue,so Movie Hopping wouldn't work there.

It probably wouldn't work at Animal Kingdom Lodge either. The movies are shown on a big screen in the pool.

My vote would be to go to the Wilderness Campground for a movie....

Two marshmallow pits for roasting...
A guy came out with either a banjo or it was a guitar (can't remember)....
There was a concession stand to buy stuff like popcorn, sodas and other things...
Bleachers to sit on for the movie....
Oh yea 1more thing .....chip and dale were there too at the beginning....

But the beach and the campground were two that we wanted to try as well as POR where we are staying.

I also heard there's a beach that's great to see fireworks? Is that at Polynesian?

When you menmtioned "Fantasia",I thought you meant Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies,now see that you are at POR.

Yes,the Poly has a beach where Guests watch Wishes.

The movies are shown on the beach at Wilderness Lodge. You can catch the high fireworks from Wishes there. And if you are still on the beach around 9:35pm, you can see the Electric Water Parade. When we were at the WL in December, the Electric Water Parade and the Christmas party fireworks from MK were happening at the same time. It was really cool.

They change every month and are usually released on the 1st or 2nd of the month.
