i went to the movies tonight. i saw the movie ELF.it was the best movie i seen in years!!!!!!!!

I went to Fort Lauderdale this weekend and unfortunately got rained out . So we went to the movies and saw Elf. It was absolutely hilarious!

Kathy - I didn't see anything that would be objectionable for a 5 year old. They didn't do the "Santa isn't real" routine. There are adults who are non-believers, but they come around! Children of any age appreciate the belching scene too!

We celebrated DS's birthday yesterday and took seven kids to see Elf. Even though it was a sold-out show with lots of kids, the theater was quiet (except for the funny parts, of course), because everyone was so enthralled in the movie.

I thought it was a very heart-warming-feel-good Christmas movie. I read one review that called Will Farrell nothing but a taller Pauly Shore. I totally disagree and loved his character.

I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out and make this a Christmas must see tradition.
