Movie "Christmas Shoes" with Robe Lowe

You would think I'd know enough not to watch this movie, but nooooo, here I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face, bawling like a baby!
Anybody else ever see this movie? Definite tearjerker.

I just finished watching on lifetime about a 1/2hr ago. I haven't seen it in a few yrs. I knew I shouldn't have watched it, I went through almost a whole box of tissues. Every Christmas the first time I hear the song come on the radio I bawl and after that I'm usually ok for a yr. Lol

I happen to enjoy Nicholas Sparks novels....just finished Safe Haven.

Right after "The Christmas Shoes" they had another after it, part 2 of "The Christmas Shoes". I was on the computer and not really paying full attention but didn't want to get up and shut it off.
Kind of a hokey story, the little boy became a Doctor (Neil Patrick Harris) hated seeing people die so he went home to work at his father's gas station. Met a woman fell in love, she was ill, met a kid (the cute kid from 2 1/2 men when he was younger) the kid was sick, kid died, gave his liver to the woman, he went back to being a doctor, they lived happily ever after. (except the kid who died but he saw his mother in heaven just before he died so I guess he is ok too)
Best thing about this movie was THERE WAS NO SONGS
