Movie buffs...Please help me figure out this song!!

It's driving me crazy!! In the movie "Forces of Nature" with Ben Affleck there is a part where Ben's fiance's ex (follow that?) sings an 80's song to her. What is the song? It's something (I think) about breaking up, or getting back together, and it's a song that everyone knows.
