I remember there being a thread a while back about the movie "Adam". Just wanted to say its now available for rent, at least at Movie Gallery, and I've heard you can get it through Netflix.

I really thought it was a good movie, sad, but good :thumbsup2

I, too, remember the original thread awhile back. I have not seen the movie since it did not make it to my area while in the theatre. I am glad to know that it is available to rent.

Thanks again!

I consider it a "must see". I did get to see it in a little Gulf Breeze theater that was off the beaten track, but when it came out for rent I got it the other day so my husband could watch it also. Its a little sad, and some parts painful to watch as a mom of a spectrum kid because lets face it, its scary to think of our amazing little boys as adults trying to find their way in the world. But Hugh Dancy did an amazing job.

If you get a chance to rent it come back and let us know what you think! :thumbsup2

Adam is an amazing movie, I can't recommend it enough. My husband and I watched it together (he's an aspie) and it echoed so much about our relationship. And I'm going to second what lucigo said, Hugh Dancy was amazing.

This made me chuckle...my DH definitely has aspie tendancies and when we got to the part where the girl comes to his door and he doesn't answer it he said...maybe I have Aspergers. I just told him we all have a bit of it! The next day when he was obscessing over wanting all black hangers to take on his trip I just laughed. I figure if I ever want to understand my son, I will first have to understand his dad.
