We have a campsite booked for 2nd to last week in August, which is the first full week of MNSSHP. So we will really be limited on which days we can pick for MK and from what I've read, MK will be much more crowded on none party nights.
Would you bump up your trip up by a week to have more flexibility in your schedule? While the party might be cool, I'm not looking forward to the extra hassle.
We don't buy park hoppers, so no doing MK on party day then hopping to a different park

If you leave it the same, I would do one party night and have an early evening and go to the pool or to Disney Springs. MK also has the Extra hours on Wednesday so you can stay late when the crowds are gone. The park is also decorated nice for Halloween.

Depends how you feel about fireworks. I'm fine missing them and probably wouldn't stay anyway, so going to MK on a party day is a plus for me.

Also should add we are only doing 3park days as we want to enjoy the campground. So we'll want each park day to be a full day

I would go earlier.
