Hmmmm, I wonder it if would be unDisney like to carry around a magical wand and just whack cast members on the head for being snarky and less than magical??
I like this idea and i may use it next time i am in Disney. Just BONK.. your magically happy now... Smile damn it.
But what a turnaround at Epcot, free stuffies gotta love that.
I KNOW!!!!!!!! I still cannot believe the magic pixi dust!!!
Wet shoes and wet pants, there is definitely nothing fun about that. I've often wondered where all the water mysteriously goes so quickly, maybe its part of Florida's reclaimed water program and they use it in the fountains.
nooooo No wet clothes. i had to buy new stuff if they wanted to keep going. I will not say no to new DISNEY clothes!!
Oh Beirgarten is SO yummy, and the polka band SO FUN! Glad you all enjoyed it as much as we did. I am not a beer drinker, but Brian had a great time with a beer flight...four different beers. He was in heaven.
It was good!!! I saw someone else with the 4 beer thing! i wish i would have done that instead of that monstrosity I was drinking!!!
I DESPISE Polka music..... like my head will explode.. Yet this? WAS FANTASTIC! maybe just he reference with chevy chase i dunno.. but it was really fantastic.
Loving the update! I have been wanting to get over to Germany every time I go to Epcot and I just never seem to be able to. I know we will on our upcoming March trip because BF is going to want beer. A LOT OF BEER!

(Me, I prefer rum

).
Thank you!
Germany is LOTS of fun! I will say there are a lot of different beers to try there! There are two places to get all the beers too, If you don't get an ADR for Beirgarten. if you take a walk towards the entrance there is a bar then outside there is a cart which will sell tons of the beers!!!
That show looks pretty good, we'll have to swing by there this time and try to catch a glimpse. This is why I follow everyone's TR so I can get some good ideas.
I don't think they will let you in unless you have a ressie?!?!
The food was good.. Not outstanding... way fun experience!!! that's what we are always looking for!
So sorry the rain didn't hold out. Being wet and cold is just no fun at all. Although I'm sure it wasn't cold in FL.
It's epcot so we are always ready for rain in Epcot!!!

Wet and cold? NO FLIPPING WAY! Ever. Wet and FL hot? not soooooo bad.
not allowed to have wet feet!
It looks like you're all having a great time in Epcot so far--minus the rain! We had the same experience on our trip.
Ugh that crazy rain! almost time to build an arc!
we will always make the best out of the situation!!!
Biergarten looks like a great time. We loved those guys playing the bells and tipping each other's over and stuff! The girls thought that was too funny. My DH tried some beer when we were there but I don't remember what he had.
It is a great time! Did he like the beer? I did!!!
Love the picture that is all little squares. That's pretty fun!
Kids and cameras... something will always come out interesting!!!
I LOVE the Mickey shoes you bought! I looked at this easy couple times but didn't get them. They are just so cute!
Thank you!! They are super cute! I am NOT a fan of ked like shoes. they are the worst for your ankles and knees. But i was in NEED!
Those shoes are adorable! Can't wait to see the capris
I need to take a picture of them!!! i loooooooove them.
I have to try Beirgarten. I just don't like the idea of sitting with strangers.....maybe if I ever take a trip with a larger group??? Hint hint.....
I understand the meaning behind sitting with strangers- as that's what they do there. and i have no problem sitting with anyone. (as i a sure you know) You really need to have a fun family sitting with you. otherwise it would just be awkward! These two girls were trying to be fun and outgoing.
Poor kids..
Darn rain......what is it about Epcot?!
I have no idea! I believe the imaginears did something that bring on rain at epcot when certain people walk through the bag check. it's the only explanation i can come up with.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Biergarten. I wish we could go for the entertainment and dessert only because then we'd go back in a heartbeat.
I agree! I didn't think the food was out of this world. There are such better places, yet the entertainment was worth going! I couldn't eat many of the desserts, the ones i did have were DELISH! Tom doesn't ask for too much when going to Disney, except for Ohana. I'm secretly hoping this one time there was enough! especially now that we know we can get the beer at one of the carts!
Sometimes it is hard to include others at your table in your conversation, but glad you gave it a good try.
It really is especially when they are younger kids, and we are--- Well Not such a quiet, shy family.. a bit boisterous??? <-- that's a good description right?
Great pictures in the Germany shop and as you toured over to Italy. The rain really was insane in September (Nicki said it is the rainiest September she can remember in many, many years).
Well, this makes me feel so much better!!! it was CRAZY the amount of rain this trip!!!! i should have bought flippers instead of gym shoes!!!
and i have pictures!!!
they are really sweet couple and i love them dearly!!!
Every single time I read a post about Biergarten (is that how it's spelled?) I think of European Vacation. I love that movie! Remember the part where Clark is getting slapped silly by the other dancer guys? Hilarious!
YES YES YES!!!
This is the best picture i can find!! So i looked it up it's spelled: biergarten you are CORRECT! whoop!
Love the vacation movies: "Hey kids look- big Ben parliament" over and over <-- another saying we use A LOT.. maybe too much..
Anyway, the food looks pretty darn tasty. We have yet to try the restaurant because we aren't fans of sharing a table with strangers. I can meet total strangers from the internet a/k/a the Disboards but I feel funny when sitting with others. I'm weird like that.
The food was OK, the experience was well worth it! No your not weird, if it was a fellow Dis-er i would have been thrilled. But these were a coupld of young kids on a Disney day.. and we are... Well US.

takes a special kinda Disney person to be able to hang with my family!
Hi!!! Your leaving SOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!
I'm just getting all caught up on your trip report. Your long, boring drive down reminded me of the many trips we took to WDW back in the days when we drove. We had three kids, a conversion van, and a DH who hated to turn the driving over to anyone else.

We usually drove 13 - 14 hours the first day, then had a short 4 -5 hour drive to the resort. Driving through the night like you did must have been really hard.
A conversion van would be the way to go!!! We were squished in my Apsen!
WOW he did that huge drive himself?!?! Where do you stop to rest?!? i want to stop next time we drive. that was a rough one coming home. we were all dead on our tails took forever to get back to real life.
The Biergarten is a lot of fun. I'm not crazy about the food, but the entertainment makes up for it.
100% agree with you. I do believe people should do it once, once was enough for me!
Holy - 3 posts in one day batman!!!
eh it was mostly pictures which i have an abundance of.
I've had a Biergarten ADR, I think, for every trip - and every trip, it gets cancelled. One day we will eat there. Sadly - we live in a VERY German Catholic town... So, I invision Biergarten to be very much like our twice-yearly Sausage Supper... So, when we go to Disney, I really like to do things I can't do at home.
You do have to do it at least once. It's exactly like European vacation without the beating of Chevy Chase. If that's what you have?!?!
The same with us.. Like to do things we don't have here!
But it looks good and it looks like you all had fun!
Of course we did! you know us!!!!
Yay for Woobie and Mo time!
HAD to have some me time. really wanted to do more of twilight shooting. but it wasn't in the cards.
And yay for seeing Tess and Charlie!!! I agree - LOVE Tess!!!! I haven't met Charlie yet though... I am sure he is fabulous since Tess picked him.
he is a fantastic guy! Just love him! the two of them together cannot be beat! Such a great Disney duo!!!
Love the new shoes... I did look at them a few times while we were there - I didn't get them though.
dang it we could have been twinkies!
Curious about your new pants.... I think you need to post pics. Puuuuuleeeeeeze.
I do need to i do just looooove them!
Hopefully the rest of your day is much less wet.
D~
it's still raining here.. and my knee cap is still killing me.
***********************************************************************
Yesterday was such a better day. I wasn't in a murderous mood.. Probably shouldn't say that.
I was in a cooking mood so i made Chili! Totally needed. Bad cold wet weather called for Chili kinda day. It was a fast chili not slow cooked but still came out yummy.
Have to work this lovely job then off to go work Job #2 from 3-9... yes 9. blah. I will be tired tomorrow. I have my handy dandy knee brace i should be OK.
Hope you all have a SUN SHINING good day!!!
