Disclaimer: Before anybody flames me bc what Im proposing is shady, I’m really just asking as a fact gathering mission to see if this happens and how realistic getting a PPO at BOG is.
I’m staying at AKL Sep. 15-20. For a million reasons I won’t get into, our whole plan of attack for the week hinges on a PPO for BoG on 18th (only 3 days in). I know this early in the stay that can be a challenge. My question is this: Could you theoretically/do people in reality back up a resort reservation for earlier and longer just to take advantage of the 180+10, then change it to the dates you really want after you get the ADR? And if so, any chance changing your room booking would cancel the ADRs you’ve made?
In my timeline for example, instead of making my resort booking for 9/15-20, I would make it for 9/10-9/20 (making the ADR on the 18th more likely. Then sometime after that change the room dates to 9/15-9/20.
I hope I’m not opening a ADR hack can of worms, but surely someone has thought of this before. I’m just wondering if it’s a common practice (making my chances of getting the ADR even worse) and if Disney has countermeasures in place.
