mousesavers UT discount question

I thought I read somewhere that if you sign up with mousesavers you can get a discount on the posted WDW park ticket prices on the undergrount tourist website, but I can't figure out how to find the discount. Is there an additional discount for undercover tourist through mousesavers? I have been getting mousesaver newsletters for awhile now and clicked on the UT link in the December newsletter, but the prices seem to be the same as if you went straight to UT.

You are correct. When the monthly mouse savers newsletter comes out there is usually a link to discounted tickets. I bought 3day base tickets last year for our April, 2017trip and saved more than $1 each, although I can’t recall the amount.

As an added bonus AmEx had a special of a $30(?) credit if you spent $150 at UT. I was able to do the deal twice about three weeks apart

hmmm. I tried again to click through the newsletter but I am still seeing the same price for a 6 day plus one (so 7 days) park hopper for 465.95. If the discount is only a dollar per ticket though, I won't worry about it.

When did you get that 30 off deal? I have to get my tickets in the next few days in order to make FPs sixty days out. What kind of Amex do you have? I have a Gold Delta SkyMiles Amex. Thanks!

I just tried looking for my December newsletter but ai must have deleted it. I believe that Disney prices do not include tax where UT does.

I have a basic Amex. You have a section called “Amex offers” and various offers are posted there. Other dis’ers normally post when there is the UT listed

Amex offers are targeted from what I understand, so not always on everyone's offer list. Friends had one last trip for UT they used for Universal tickets, but did not have one this year when trying to buy Gatorland tickets through them.

When I stated the price of the UT ticket that was the price I saw both clicking through the mousesavers newsletter and getting to UT tickets that way, and also going directly to the UT site. In otherwords I could not find an additional discount on UT WDW tickets when I clicked on the link in the mousesavers newsletter. I wasn't comparing UT prices with WDW gate prices. I thought I heard that the 30 off deal for UT with an AMEX happened last January - I have to buy my tickets soon so will probably miss out on this deal unless in case anyone can tell me if it might happen in the next few days - probably not I know, but still maybe a shot.

I do check the offers on my AMEX card and know they are targeted. I like to ask what AMEX cards people are getting offers that can be used for Disney in case I want to get a different AMEX card as I don't seem to get the good deals others on the budget board do. That is another reason why I asked what AMEX card you have, maybe the Gold never got that 30 off UT deal.

Can someone send me the mousesaver newsletter for Jan.
I registered but did not get the letter. Planning to go next week.

I can PM the email address

The newsletters usually arrive on the 15th of each month. Their site states that if the 15th is a holiday, as today is, the newsletter will arrive on the 16th. You should get it tomorrow.

When you’ve used the private link, you will see a “welcome MouseSavers” message that is not displayed on the public version of the page. Once you have visited the private link, the discounted version may continue to display even if you go to Undercover Tourist’s public site, depending on your browser and cookie settings.
