I have a couple questions I'm hoping you knowledgable folks can answer!!! Love the Dis!!
We currently have a package booked through
AAA for MYW plus Dining for May 2-8 at the Polynesian, with 7 day park hoppers with water parks and more option. Only discount on there is the AAA discount.
*if* the deal is as explained here (I know nothing official has been released), AND it's available for our dates at the Poly, based on my calculations, we can add an extra night/day to our trip, with dining, (we had planned to stay offsite one night) and still pay $100 less than our current trip price.
so here are my questions:
First, did I calculate right? I went in and did the 7 nights, 8 days with dining and tickets on the Disney site. Got that price (a). Then went in and did the same withOUT dining and got that price (b). Then did 4 nights, 5 days withOUT dining and got that price (c). Subtracted (c) from (b) to get the discount "savings" (d). Then subtracted (d) from (a) to get the package price ***if*** the discount is as described and available for my nights at the Poly. Did I do this right? missing anything??
Secondly, if this all does come about - what's the best way to go about accessing this? Should I just go ahead and book ASAP on the Disney site, pay another $200 deposit and then cancel my AAA ressie and get refunded? Or should I have my AAA agent try to change/rebook the ressie? Since the extra night we'd be adding is at the Beginning of our trip (would be May 1), is changing the ressie even a possibility?? Or is a totally new package a must?
Finally, if I do get a new ressie, I already have 2 ADR's booked. CM dinner on 5/2 and CRT lunch on 5/5. Booked those this past Monday with my current ressie # (to get the +10). Will I lose those if I get a new trip ressie? Will I have to rebook or can I keep them?
