I am pricing 3 adult no-expiry 10 day park hoppers, and 1 child same ticket. Without the mousesavers discount the total is $2071.01. With the mousesavers discount it's $2062.81. A savings of $8.20, or .4%.

I priced the same tickets a couple weeks ago and it was a little over $1800. Has something changed? Why such a paltry discount compared to a couple weeks ago?

I'm assuming you're pricing Undercover Tourist. I have bought tix from them before and was very happy. However, I only remember it being a small savings per ticket, like you are seeing. The savings to me were booking a room only discounted on-site room with UT tickets versus the package price.

Hope this helps! :)

Could you have been pricing non-hoppers by accident? That would account for over a $200 difference.

I agree - no discount has a $200 difference, you must have been inputting different things (# of people or type of tickets) when you did it the first time. Most discounts amount to about $10 - $20 in savings.

To clarify - it wasn't the discount that was different. It was the total price, regardless of discount. A couple weeks ago, the non-discounted price was a bit over $1800. The discount reduced that by about $25, which in my experience is about what the discount has been for us in the past. I checked this at least 2-3 times over the last month or so as I was deciding what to buy and when. It is highly unlikely that I was pricing the wrong tickets every time. We've used UT many times - I'm not a newbie to this, and I'm very careful when spending this much $$.

So now, the undiscounted price is over $2000, and the discount only reduces that by $8. I've never seen discount that low. The fact that the price of the tickets had gone up $200, plus the fact that the discount was so small, made me wonder if something had recently changed.

Maybe UT had a price increase?

Taxes are included in Undercover tourist prices- not in the disney price ones I believe. Not positive but that's the way I remember it when I was looking.

Taxes are a non-factor in this situation, since I'm not comparing Disney prices to UT prices. I'm comparing UT prices from a few weeks ago to now.

Last year in August i believe they really socked it to the 10 day non - exp PH..
.It was a great deal, but now not so much..Not like before anyway...Right UT which we always use includes the tax..Disney doesn't.

Are you sure that you were looking at hoppers a few weeks ago? I really cannot see there being a $200 increase in the price of 4 Undercovertourist tickets when Disney has not raised their ticket prices.

And certainly, there would not have been a discount that steep on 10-day non-expiring park hoppers. The gate price is $563+ per adult and about $540 per child. At $1800 for 4 tickets you're talking ticket prices in the averaging $450 each. There's no way that they would have had a $100+ per ticket discount!

I purchased three adult 10-day park hoppers no expire about a month ago (just hit the cc bill) and checking the prices; they are the same now as what I paid then, $521.95 each.

Unfortunatly there wasn't any mousesavers discount above what was already offered through UT, $41 off main gate ticket price. Perhaps during the time you were initially looking they were able to offer an additional discount?

Wish I was able to get an additional $50 off each ticket, that would have been great!

I hope you are able to figure out what happened.

To me it seems they (UCT) was running some kind of special deal on some tixs few weeks back. Maybe you had checked pricing at that time and now that deal is no more.

Could you not purchase a 7 day park hopper or any ticket that gives you a larger discount, then upgrade your ticket after using once when you get to the park? I believe I saw a ticket that saved you $42 when purchasing from Undercover Tourist.

Call them and ask. They are very friendly and should be able to answer this question.
