OK.. I just received a lot of obvious scrappers from ebay. (He is taking them back..) but I really want about 40 traders for our trip in 10 days. I've seen a lot of good feedback about mousepins, but their prices are very low and that makes me suspicious. When I asked about the quality of the pins the only answer was "you can trade all of these". Yes, I know.. I can trade the POS scrappers too, but I don't want to.

Has anyone (who can really tell what a scrapper is) ordered from them and been happy? They are on the "green" list, but I don't want to be disappointed again. The ebay seller I ordered from had thousands of +++ too, but I could tell immediately (mainly from the weight) that they were not authentic, and some research confirmed it.

Thanks!

I've ordered from mousepinsonline a couple of times. They were all good quality pins. No scrappers in my lots at all.
They also went way above and beyond to ship me a bunch of traders to my Disneyland hotel for a last minute trip last May. Over half of my pins had the mickey icon on them -"hidden mickey" cast pins, I think.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

here is our exchange.. didn't make me very confident.. I couldn't believe he was supporting the "scrapper-seller".

Our pins are copyrighted Disney pins and are tradable. (While I don't know who you purchased your pins from on Ebay, I would guess they are probably
copyrighted pins that have been passed around from trader to trader. Over time even normal wear and tear on pins will affect how they look and even how
they feel.)

At one time we did allow pin returns but unfortunately someone attempted to return pins that did not come from us. Because of this all sales are final.

Have a great time at Disney,

Gary

We trade every year. I've used mousepinsonline for 3 years now. This year I called him with a question about the pins, and how fast I can get them.. and yes I procrastinate, we leave friday night and I"m still not packed... but I have my pins!

Gary was helpful on the phone and very friendly. I can understand both sides here, his pins are cheaper than buying in disney. But knowing how people are, I can understand him not not taking back returns... How many of us have had problems from ebay buyers? I can see some people giving him back pins that weren't his.

I think Mousepinsonline is a great company and wouldn't hesitate to go back to them, so that's my 2 cents..:goodvibes.Now back to packing!

Not guaranteeing your product says a lot, imo. That makes it no less of a risk than buying from ebay.

Thanks.. are you confident yours are not scrappers? I was put off by how he defended the bad ebay pins and made me no guarantee about his. I really want to order these.. but don't want to get burned 2x.

I have orded pins before- one from mousepinsonline and once fron another place.....I cannot tell which are authentic and which are not....
I have gone to the best websites for ID purposes and apparently the details are so fine, it is hard for most people to tell?

I'm not saying it's ok to sell scrappers, knowing that's what they are. BUT, apparently many of what your will see hanging on castmembers necks ARE scrappers. I do this for my kids...if they want to trade a good pin for a scrapper, I let them. If they trade a scrapper and get a good one.....well, the next time, I'm sure it will get traded back!!!!!:rotfl2:

I have ordered from Gary, but not recently. When I ordered from him previously he was great!! I had nothing negative to say about anything we ever received from him, but I don't like all sales are final with him, that's not cool.....can I suggest 2 eBay sellers that I've purchased lots from and been very happy with what I've received? Pinderellas_Castle and mickeystreasure both have sent me lots for great prices and shipped so fast!! mickeytreasure (Chris) even shipped to my hotel in Anaheim! I wouldn't hesitate a minute before ordering from Pindy or Chris again. If neither of them have lots up currently contact them and ask, let them know what you're interested in and see if they can accommodate you. Feel free to PM me for more info or suggestion if you'd like. :)

but I think even my kids could tell these weren't great quality, as they have done a lot of trading. My first thought was, "well, everyone does it and we'll probably only get scrappers back anyway" but I knew I would feel bad every time they traded one. The ebay seller has agreed to take them back no problem. I have e-mailed with Gary again and was quite surprised by what he had to say. I would not be comfortable shopping there. I ordered a lot from olivejuicyou21 for more $, but I have dealt with them before and have no reservations to do so again.

The kids and I will look out for scrappers in the park, but we won't stress about it too much. :thumbsup2

I ordered from mousepinsonline once, no problems. i got a 25 pin bag, all good pins. from any threads i have seen previous, i have not seen any complain that he sent out any scrappers or any bad pins (non disney). I can understand his no return policy, i'm sure he got burned. too bad.
