Is it possible to get a portion of the room cleaned? Let me explain...
During our trip to Disney this Feb we stayed at CBR and the sheets used on the bed felt... sticky. Maybe Mousekeeping used too much soap or it's the brand of soap they used but I slept horrible with them.
Anyway, I'm going to bring bedding with me (sheets, two small blankets, and maybe pillow or just pillow cover) the next time I go. I want to make the bed when I get there and NOT have Mousekeeping touch it during my stay.
What I plan to do is just write "do not change bed" on a piece of paper and put it on my bed. We still want daily towels and my grandmother wants her sheets changed every few days. Do you think my plan will work? Or how would you go about something like this. Suggestions welcome!

There's no excuse for sticky sheets (which I've never experienced at WDW). Maybe housekeeping failed to change the sheets from a prior guest who had slept in sunscreen? At any rate, I would have told them to change the yucky sheets. Feeling like you have to bring your own sheets is ridiculous for any hotel, but especially for one that charges the prices you pay at Disney. Sticky sheets are not the norm, so the problem was housekeeping's and should have been fixed by them.

One tip for dealing with Disney housekeeping: Make your requests in person at the front desk. Don't call from your resort phone- that call goes to an offsite call-center with a very poor track record (in my experience) of getting problems handled. Talking in person to the front desk gets things taken care of.

I agree with Shanti. We never had a problem wth sheets. The OPs experiences is not the norm and should have brought to the attention of the hotel.

Generally, they won't change the sheets anyway unless you request a change or remove the sheets and leave them on the floor.

If you feel you must bring your own sheets then I would be sure to bring a colored set of sheets this way they won't be mistaken for Disney's.

That and a note that says "please do not change sheets on this bed - these are mine from home. thanks!" or something along those lines will do it. Since you will need to remove the Disney sheets on your bed (or are you planning to put your sheets on over those?), you could neatly fold them and place them on top of the bed, perhaps also with a note so it's totally clear.

write it in English and Spanish. I left a note for a couple days, with no resolution. then it dawned on me...had one of my daughters leave the message en Espanol...solved immediately!!!!

Ur bringing sheets because they were Sticky last visit? Eek, I hate to think what you slept on. That is not Acceptable in any hotel imho. Sorry u experienced that.
I wouldn't go as far as to bring sheets from home, but since u are, I too would suggest Placing a Large note directly on your bed saying "PLEASE don't clean this bed at all" and of course thanking them.
I'd also walk to concierge and ask them to note ur concern ( and hopefully they will reach out with ur room/bldg number to Mousekeeping)

My understanding is that they are no longer changing the sheets every day during your stay. IMO, there's a good chance that your mousekeeper may not read/understand your note. I understand how you feel about your last visit, just request no mousekeeping and call for fresh towels to be brought.

Yeah, a PP recommended to write the note in Spanish. I thought about mentioning that but I don't know if every housekeeper speaks Spanish either.
