Mousekeeping/Security checks?

We'll be staying at AoA Friday - Wednesday. Can we expect any mousekeeping during that time? Is there a way to get additional towels, coffee, toilet paper, etc. in between mousekeeping days? Also, on the non-mousekeeping days are they still doing the security checks? What do those security checks entail? Do they disregard Do Not Disturb signs? Come into your room?

There are no "Do Not Disturb" signs. Door hangers read "Room Occupied". And yes, those doing the security check will disregard that sign. However, they will knock first.

Security checks happen daily but at no predetermined times. Whoever does the check will enter the room and look around. They will not touch your personal belongings or open drawers, etc. If it is a housekeeper, they are supposed to empty your trash containers.

Housekeeping is every 3rd day and yes there still doing security check usually in the afternoon. The security checks last all of 10 seconds and they basically walk in look around and walk out. The times that we were there for the security checks they were definitely not doing any trash pickup and our trash was only picked up during the housekeeping day.

As far as housekeeping goes, I'm not sure if this is a normal thing since we only stayed at AOA once and only my experience for suite rooms. The buildings are shaped in a T format with the elevators in the middle so on each side of the hallway and down the middle hallway they were leaving house keeping carts there full of towels and TP. If we needed towels or TP we just grabbed it out of the carts. The carts were not locked and no other items were in there other than TP and towels so my assumption was they were left them in case you needed something. They only issue was trash which did get full pretty quick.
