MouseKeeping Envelopes :)

I used those too for my last two trips!! I actually doctored them a bit, taking out "themouseforless" part! Anyway, it's just DFi and I and we tipped $2 each day. I think the standard is $1 per person per day.

thanks for the link, I just printed out our envelopes. I believe the norm for tipping is $1 - $2 per person per night.

Thanks $2 per day is about what we usually do....it is just DH and I...so guess we'll cont doing that :)

We left $5.00 per day in our Mousekeeping envelope - there are 4 of us but our kids are kind of messy!

Mousekeeping in Port Orleans was better this Aug. than last for us - our DD was happy because every day our Mousekeeper left her a different towel animal. I needed a separate bag to get them home in one piece!:)

These are so cute! I haven't ever seen this site before so I'm glad I read this thread. I was curious, I haven't tried to do these envelopes yet, but how did you take out "themouseforless" part?

I had trouble printing them the right size on my envelopes so I found some really cute disney stickers and just decorated them myself they look great!

For our trip last September I printed these off one for each day. Well the mousekeeper took the money out and left the envelope so we were able to use just one envelope for the entire week. So now I have enough for a lot of future trips.

We left $4.00 each day (two adults)

I thought of that and I think I am gonna seal the envelope so they have to take the whole thing :)

Hey everyone! You do realize that there is an AWESOME thread right here on the DIS called Creative DISigns? It's all the way down on the bottom of the first page, where you chose your subject. There is a thread there called mousekeeping envelopes. The designer has many choices, and even has ones for specific resorts and holidays. I printed off 7, and none are the same. Themouseforless is nice, but the DIS is better!:thumbsup2

We are leaving $6 each day for 4 of us. In a nicely decorated sealed envelope.

maybe that should tell us that they dont want the envelope. and to just leave the money.

OP...what a great site... I'm gonna have to get new ink cartridges when I'm done:goodvibes I love the luggage tags too:thumbsup2 thanks

We leave $5.00 per day and we are a family of four. Disney housekeeping works so hard and does such a good job. It just makes the vacation a little more magical. :)

I think it is great too :) I like the luggage tags, word finds and the pocket info sheets...even has instructions on how to fold it :thumbsup2

Hmm, I actually don't remember how I did it but I know I did it twice so it can be done. I think maybe I opened the picture in microsoft picture it or maybe just "paint" and cropped it out then just dragged it to "word" to print the envelopes.

We've not stayed at a Disney resort before (only been there once, and stayed off-site), but we always tip $10 per night for our family of 5. We're planning our first on-site trip for next February, and have booked the GF, so we'll also have to plan for tipping at turn-down.

For 2 adults, who leave room picked up and clean, we leave $3.00 a day. The envelopes are great and if you print them out and put $$ in them in advance of your vacation, it's a relatively painless way to tip the very hardworking mousekeepers.
