What is the recommended gratuity for the DVC mousekeepers?
One bedroom and studio if staying 4 or less days so there is only the change over service?

This is a frequently discussed topic. DVCers are all over the map on what they do. Some give no tip, others give a small tip for Trash and Towel day, a larger tip for full cleaning day or at check-out. Here is a link to a poll (obviously NOT scientific) which says that about 59% of those responding do tip mousekeeping and the rest do not:

Most threads on this subject say that those who do tip give less for studios, more for larger rooms. I think that the range for a check-out tip has been posted as anywhere from about $10 - $30.

According to Disney, Mousekeeping is not considered a tipped position and they are paid accordingly.

IMHO tipping is out of wack. Service personal expect it and business owners short pay their employees and take advantage of the customers expected generosity.

If you are only staying four days, you won't even get trash and towel service. You need at least four nights to get Trash and Towel service.
